Well, I've been arguing for awhile now that when
lawyers do need to show we're the superior
choice, our
ethical standards, practice insurance, and professional indemnity system will be among our greatest assets.
If a situation warrants intervention by a
lawyer, the
lawyer should not be in a position where making the
ethical choice is harmful to his or her career and betrays the rules of privilege and confidentiality in the FLSC rules.
