I am pissed - off that other teams even clubs like Spurs see the players that they want and immediately pounce on them like a tramp on chips, but when it comes to Arsenal we make appointments weeks and months into the future... I ask myself, what can I do as a fan of my beloved Arsenal, and what can we (Arsenal fans all over the world) do as supporters to show our outrage and indignation of the status - quo at Arsenal when it comes to transfers.
I have a proper source than Moley. He's been wrong only on the Neymar deal. He's broken many deals ahead of time for many different teams. It's a shame I'm an Arsenal fan regarding this circumstance. If it was any other club I'd be applauded fror proving updates ahead of time but Arsenal sign few players and struggle even when the deal looks all but done.
I SAY WENGER DOES NO SUCH THING and my above several posts have given ample reasons as to why I AND TENS OF THOUSANDS OTHER FANS, (who are not fools, by the way, even though the club and manager treat us a such) THINK THE SAME.
All the other clubs are showing ambition and ok maybe the two aforementioned players may not be the choice for everyone, someone we can use would really be a booster for the fans, to date the two players who were feted as Marquee signings were Ozil WHO AT TIME OF PURCHASE WAS NOT EVEN GETTING INTO THE SIDE AT Reall Madrid and was very much out of favour with the German national coach and who has done next to nothing for uOF PURCHASE WAS NOT EVEN GETTING INTO THE SIDE AT Reall Madrid and was very much out of favour with the German national coach and who has done next to nothing for uof favour with the German national coach and who has done next to nothing for us.
We are already hearing about other clubs around Europe securing the transfer of players, such as Mats Hummels to Bayern Munich, so even though the Premier League season is not properly over until after Manchester United play Bournemouth tonight and then Louis van Gaal takes his troubled team to Wembley in the FA cup, Arsenal fans are already eager for news of a signing.
Absolutely right there He won't go anywhere because he does what the board wants him to He delivers profit and very low risk and sets expectations at virtually zero so that's the fans don't expect too m7ch and he doesn't have to deliver and the board don't need to spend Its a farce and more importantly a blatant con Every single fan who puts even a penny into the club either through season tickets right the way down to buying a mug or a pen or a shirt is being robbed by a board who care NOTHING for sporting glory and even less for the fans who finance the club There SHOULD be mass walkouts on home games and protests at every turn but, there won't be because the demographic of fans now is of a majority who are not true supporters but millennial who only want to say they attend the ground every other week.
We look silly time after time and the media eats it up and constantly writes s ** t to torture us even more, not to mention fans of other clubs.
Come on mate everyone knows our club has gone threw a transactional period that we will probably never see in our life time again football has changed since the billionaires have come in we had to make the changes no other manager could of kept us in the top four while we had to change our whole structure I'm not saying wenger is perfect he does fustrate us all sometimes but were in safe hands and were going in the right direction not that I know a lot about the ffp but something is happening and every year we seem to becoming in a stronger position to what wenger is trying to achieve for our club we all know this is wenger last contract and even if he win the cl or the epl he won't sign another contract it just fustrates me that the way people act sometimes our time is coming even wen wenger leaves we will still have hope that we can compete for honours lets just enjoy beign arsenal fans and what will be will be cause wen in a very stable position and that is all the hope I need that our time will come in the future COYG
Every time I think we've fallen as low as we can down drops the lift» we even have to listen to rumours in the next window we are that desperate, I agree with a lot of you it's BS if we don't get CL (which we won't without signings) why would he come, and by the way this other midfielder for 6 m, can't be bothered to check his name is a AM because we dout have enough lol, I will always be an arsenal fan but I can not condone the way the club is run and the lies we keep being fed
They will be insulting each others» Mums next if this carries on much further and all it is doing is making Arsenal look even more shambolic and giving those TV pundits, football journalists and fans of rival clubs more bullets to fire at us.
I'm so sick of people telling those of us who are disgruntled fans to relax and give this club time to correct itself... for anyone who believes that taking a wait - and - see approach is appropriate at this juncture they should take a good long look at themselves in the mirror because they are a big part of the problem... no other «big» club's fans would stand for this shit for nearly as long as we have... think about it, we've witnessed a changing of the guard at every major club in England, Spain, France and Germany in the last several years because those «big» clubs failed to live up to expectations (Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern, PSG, Chelsea, ManU, ManCity etc...)... for some reason, many fans have become as fragile as our current manager, believing that there couldn't possibly be a suitable replacement, even though everyone of these clubs have found multiple replacements and still achieved far more than our club... this mindset has been created by an organization that has been milking it's fans, telling countless lies (no world class players available) and lowering expectations every since they rolled out the biggest lie of all: that we couldn't spend because of the new stadium but once it was paid off we could compete with any team in the world... this organization is rotting from the inside out and if we don't demand that those in charge put soccer first this despicable behaviour won't end with Wenger's ridiculous 2 year contract... I think the real fear isn't that a suitable replacement doesn't exist, but that this organization is so money hungry and poorly mismanaged that we will sink even lower by choosing our next coach the same way they choose our players, on the cheap... even so, we need to see what mustache will do if left to his own devices so he will have to show his true colours... only then can we purge this club and start anew
Wenger isn't going anywhere, The board is Happy With him, Some of d fans are happy with Him even Other Club Fans, Managers and Pundits are Happy with Wenger cos with Him we don't stand a chance of winning anything and that's good... it's like Recycfans are happy with Him even Other Club Fans, Managers and Pundits are Happy with Wenger cos with Him we don't stand a chance of winning anything and that's good... it's like RecycFans, Managers and Pundits are Happy with Wenger cos with Him we don't stand a chance of winning anything and that's good... it's like Recycling
Sorry neil, as people pointed out no one will tolerate failure for this long especially when u consider arsenal were a big club even before Wenger.wenger achieved things, so as a note of thanks fans gave him time.but that time got over some two years back and now he's jus like any other manager....
if i was an arsenal fan in u.k; i wud of course support team for this season.and see if the club is serious abt challenging.if not, i will not only avoid going to matches; but even avoid watching on t.v and that will hit their revenues hard and make kroenke think twice abt not spending.i wud unite with other fans and raise banners like «mr; kroenke pls spend or pls leave» lol....
In any other instance when a player rebels against the club and coach for whatever reason there is no room for doubt, disciplinary actions must be taken, even when he is your best player...... it could be the case even for SANCHEZ, those words no player is greater than the Club are well understood, the problem in this case is that a growing majority of the Fans are fed up with the Club and Manager, years of frustration, deception nothing changing and doing nothing about it has the great majority of Fans siding with the Player against the Club and Manager...... unfortunately both lost the respect of most ARSENAL fans, there is a revolt brewing YES like every year the difference this year is that losing Sanchez will not go without consequenceclub and coach for whatever reason there is no room for doubt, disciplinary actions must be taken, even when he is your best player...... it could be the case even for SANCHEZ, those words no player is greater than the Club are well understood, the problem in this case is that a growing majority of the Fans are fed up with the Club and Manager, years of frustration, deception nothing changing and doing nothing about it has the great majority of Fans siding with the Player against the Club and Manager...... unfortunately both lost the respect of most ARSENAL fans, there is a revolt brewing YES like every year the difference this year is that losing Sanchez will not go without consequenceClub are well understood, the problem in this case is that a growing majority of the Fans are fed up with the Club and Manager, years of frustration, deception nothing changing and doing nothing about it has the great majority of Fans siding with the Player against the Club and Manager...... unfortunately both lost the respect of most ARSENAL fans, there is a revolt brewing YES like every year the difference this year is that losing Sanchez will not go without consequenceFans are fed up with the Club and Manager, years of frustration, deception nothing changing and doing nothing about it has the great majority of Fans siding with the Player against the Club and Manager...... unfortunately both lost the respect of most ARSENAL fans, there is a revolt brewing YES like every year the difference this year is that losing Sanchez will not go without consequenceClub and Manager, years of frustration, deception nothing changing and doing nothing about it has the great majority of Fans siding with the Player against the Club and Manager...... unfortunately both lost the respect of most ARSENAL fans, there is a revolt brewing YES like every year the difference this year is that losing Sanchez will not go without consequenceFans siding with the Player against the Club and Manager...... unfortunately both lost the respect of most ARSENAL fans, there is a revolt brewing YES like every year the difference this year is that losing Sanchez will not go without consequenceClub and Manager...... unfortunately both lost the respect of most ARSENAL fans, there is a revolt brewing YES like every year the difference this year is that losing Sanchez will not go without consequencefans, there is a revolt brewing YES like every year the difference this year is that losing Sanchez will not go without consequence....
For me the nonesense the cheese eating surrender monkey has been talking about sonogo and podolski is enough to tell me the man is no longer a top flight manager but other fans should judge him on what he does in the hours remaining... even Carvalho and cerci combo would give me a glimmer anything less though and it's the end of the road for me... Just too much disrespect for a once serious club that wanted to deliver for its supporters
Well we are all making our contributions, moreover our contributions are decent individually, Wenger knows the direction he is heading towards when it comes to transfers, when he speaks with the press don't rely on his words, he speaks with the press sometimes to encourage the fans and conceal the truth in him.nevertheless my verdict concerning this issue of alexis sanchez and arsenal is that, wenger should keep hold to his words by not selling alexis, he should allow him to see off his contract if he refuses to sign because next season alexis will turn 29, he has already at the pick of his career, by allowing him to stay we can mount title challenge come next season and this will really give us an advantage even for him to o sign another contract with arsenal, arsenal is a big club, they should how to hold, encourage and lure their best players to renew their contract rather loosing them to other top clubs, especially title rivers
Until the fans forcefully take the club back, the usual continues: Arsene's legacy of loving failure and excuses, arsenal being brilliant for some weeks and losing decisive games at crucial time, a good run at fa cup, injuries more than any other top club, AKBs declaring total support for brilliant Wenger, the American animal torturer giving prof contract extension, Usmanov making weak attempts at takeover, Dangote forever promising to buy us out; and in that time, all the major clubs each clinch a prem title again, even spud having a taste, while for almost two decades we have been dreaming under Arsene's sedatives!
Walking out on a cup final early is poor saying the things after is poor we have had the most consistancy of any pl club for 20 years it goes bad we lose and we show no honor in defeat i never mentioned wenger i mentioned the lack of support in a cup final was sad and by walking out it showed we've been spoiled city did nt leave the semi early last year when we beat em they did nt leave early wehen they lost in league one and i cant stand city im arsenal through and through we won a cup last year and the year before were in another cup final and tempemental fans leave early even though it takes alot to get to a cup final maybe you need to lose more to lose respectable its hard it sucks but its a cup final bigger than the management our opinions for a day its about how you show you solidarity as a club win or lose every other club in england would of taken our spot in a heartbeat if they could of and we lea e early that shows spoilage and it was embarrassing to see we need to be stronger as supporters newcastle does nt like ashley yet they still show up and when was the last time they won a cup?
I will say he should be sold out of the premier league and if Alexis even loves Arsenal in any ways or respect the fans, he won't even consider playing for any other rival club... I have not seen Arsenal show the ambition we are showing in this transfer window in a very long time and if i as a fan can be convinced with few more signing to come in i don't know why $ anchez can't be, he should just get the EFF out our club and lives if he's not willing to stay and i hope he wins the champions league with city... was he not even one of the players who didn't push us to the champions league?
I think it has reached a point where enough is enough.the only way to save our club is if all fans are singing one thing and are together.there is no way we will anything while some guys sing only one arsene wenger and others wenger out.we need to open our eyes and sing one song altogether only then can we propel change that is essential for our beloved club.if we keep going on this road then some fans will cme and regret when our club is officially a mid table team by then it would hve been too late for change.i told guys and will keep saying which club in there right mind would sell a key player of there squad with just days to go before window is shut.its clear we weren't intrested to invest into the market and yet again the club is showing us how ambitionless they are.sad but true our season has ended before it has even kicked off!!.
Wengers past 13 seasons I've seen leceister city win the league, Jose win leave come back amd win the league gets fired and prolly be in a better position to win the league next season, south Hampton get promoted and become a stable club, oh yea leceister too, pep struggle in a league (still finished above us) Chelsea change managers and Yh they won too, Tottenham just basically becoming a better side plain and simple smh, Liverpool and Everton go through management changes and still be competitive while we're here struggling to just to even compete in our own league and getting embarrassed in europe and now as a fan we don't only have to worry about us getting players and other clubs hijacking our targets (just as every season thus far) but probably losing two of our best players and a slew of others including one our better performers in oxlade - chamberlain and our immovable manger is still showing how not to win the league and gets a bumper new deal for his struggles
Although it will be incredibly difficult to ever match his contributions on the pitch, it's vitally important for a former club legend, like Henry, to publicly address his concerns regarding the direction of this club... regardless of those who still feel that Henry has some sort of agenda due to the backlash he received following earlier comments he made on air regarding Arsenal, he has an intimate understanding of the game, he knows the fans are being hosed and he feels some sense of obligation, both professionally and personally, to tell it like he sees it... much like I've continually expressed over the last couple months, this team isn't evolving under this current ownership / management team... instead we are currently experiencing a «stagnant» phase in our club's storied history... a fact that can't be hidden by simply changing the formation or bringing in one or two individuals... this team needs fundamental change in the way it conducts business both on and off the pitch or it will continue to slowly devolve into a second tier club... regardless of the euphoria surrounding our escape act on Friday evening, as it stands, this club is more likely to be fighting for a Europa League spot for the foreseeable future than a top 4 finish... we can't hope for the failures of others to secure our place in the top 4, we need to be the manufacturers of our own success by doing whatever is necessary to evolve as an organization... if Wenger, Gazidis and Kroenke can't take the necessary steps following the debacle they manufactured last season, their removal is imperative for our future success... unfortunately, I strongly believe that either they don't know how to proceed in the present economic climate or they are unwilling to do whatever it takes to turn this ship around... just look at the current state of our squad, none of our world class players are under contract beyond this season, we have a ridiculous wage bill considering the results, we can't sell our deadwood because we've mismanaged our personnel decisions and contractual obligations, we haven't properly cultivated our younger talent and we might have become one of the worst clubs ever when it comes to way we handle our transfer business, which under Dein was one of our greatest assets... it's time to get things right!!!
much like when a country can't divulge highly classified information publicly for obvious economic and military reasons, a professional soccer organization must keep certain things in - house so they don't devalue a player, expose a weakness, provide info that could give an opposing club leverage in future negotiations and / or give them vital intel regarding a future match, but when dishonesty becomes the norm the relationship between cub and fan will surely deteriorate... in our particular case, our club has done an absolutely atrocious job when it comes to cultivating a healthy and honest relationship with the media or their fans, which has contributed greatly to our lack of success in the transfer market... along with poor decisions involving weekly wages, we can't ever seem to get true market value for most of our outgoing players and other teams seem to squeeze every last cent out of us when we are looking to buy; why wouldn't they, when you go to the table with such a openly desperate and dysfunctional team like ours, you have all the leverage; made even worse by the fact that who wouldn't want to see our incredibly arrogant and thrifty manager squirm during the process... the real issue at this club is respect, a word that appears to be entirely lost on those within our hierarchy... this is the starting point from which all great relationships between club and supporters form... this doesn't mean that a team can't make mistakes along the way, that's just human nature, it's about how they chose to deal with these situations that will determine if this relationship flourishes or devolves..
This is a decent article, yet the negatives from fans are still there, I would love to see arsenal like I did at the end of the 90's and at the beggining of the 2nd millennium but it doesn't mean in order to do so I would buy all the best players in world, I would get a rich owner to put his filthy money in, change the manager every 2 years to do so, there's so much wrong in football nowadays that yes it's still a sport but there's more focus on the filthy amounts of money being spent on clubs and players that I think attracts more attention than the game itself, now that is wrong and it's very wrong, even our owner though not like the arabs or Russians, yet the yank is clueless about the tradition of our game, it's just sad, so the fact that Wenger has remained for this long through all these changes that have occurred whilst the money game has elvolved, it makes me happy that arsenal do not spend stupid amounts of money on players, we don't try and buy the league, hell we even tight with wages and transfer fees, I'm glad it's like that, though our season ticket is a rip off I still don't mind it because at least we are not like the other supreme teams, there's a bit of tradition left at our club, yet you go to man shitty or Chelski, there is no tradition, it's all about buying ur way all the way to the top, on the other hand spuds don't know what to make of them besides how the heck have they finished above us?
As for demanding players are bought and using that against us even when we have had such a great run — well it sounds like fans of other clubs to me.
There a lot of fans that refuse to even acknowledge that Wenger is a HUGE problem, but until that problem, amongst others, is resolved, how does one expect us to compete with the top clubs in England, and in Europe?
@ Ivan yes the older fans r quite aware that arsenal was in d same category with d likes of Everton and Aston villa before the arrival of Wenger, while arsenal has climb mountains courtesy of Wenger's ingenuity, hard work, smartness, and sheer brilliance the other ones has remained dormant and one eve suffered relegation,, even when d owners of of arsenal fc has not backed him with mighty cash, he transformed arsenal to one of d most valuable club in d world today, and one of d richest club in d world today, he didn't stop there, he went ahead to win 17 trophies for arsenal fc, it amazes me how some pple who has never contributed any thing to d growth of arsenal fc will be ranting every day here insulting the greatest manager in d history of afc bcos u could afford 10mb data is ridiculous, for ur information u have bragging right today as an arsenal fan courtesy of what Wenger offered u, the golden trophy, and 49 unbeaten run is something that can take another generation to match,
If you want to talk mediocrity look at other teams other then Man U even Chelsea and you will understand what mediocrity is Morons like you will never appreciate what Wenger has done for Arsenal football club Certainly more then the current plastic moronic fanbase at Arsenal I've been a season ticket holder since 1976 and this is the worst fanbase I have seen in that time BeforfNs start saying we pay top money my answer is don't come t the ground we don't need stupid fans better to have half empty stadium full of real fans then morons taking out their real frustrations of failure on the team Just ask spuds fans who seem to back their team even though they have only won 2 trophies in 30 years and only been in the cl 4 times as opposed to the cabinet Full of trophies that Wenger has delivered plus a new stadium and works class stars that have played for us in his tenure.
I don't dispute your love and passion for the club, but even if I wanted my say on the future of the club as you so clearly do, and believe me I've been there protesting outside the East Stand years ago, the one thing I wouldn't be doing is causing fellow fans to fight each other during matches, by raising banners while the boys are trying to win a match.
Because we do it every year it has unfortunately become so entwined in to our club fabric that even sections of our fans use it as a stick to beat other fans with — this «loser mentality» crap.
I even wonder if the fans watching the match at the emirates are sad about the results **** shame on them all for not seeing thingS from the right angle **** they are as deluded as wenger, they are very soft like most of our players, those fans watching arsenal when they play this bad and couldn't take a step are as inefficient as diaby who is a part of arsenal but virtually has a role to play, infact they have been on a long term injury since we turned to a laughing stock for other clubs.
It's not just the players it's the whole club it's all out money at Arsenal Monaco fans all over the ground the other evening laughing and taking the p At any other ground it wouldn't happen, but the gound is full of white collar people who don't see that as an issue, this site is full of Spurs fans who want Wenger to stay, that way they have a chance of finishing above us
I am compelled to a feeling of utter contempt and carelessness from Wenger when it comes to the fans, he really diesnt give a damn about what we think as long as his way is being had and whether he is proved right, or for the 8th year, wrong that is still not the correct way to be, he should not be ruling the club from top to bottom in this way because he thinks nobody knows better than him, no other manager holds this power, not even the ones delivering silverware.
Even through our long history between my club and yours we are so much different as fans — we can appreciate the efforts of the other team no matter who it is.
So I'm more of a fan of the league, even though I like some clubs more than others.
Other clubs may have a lot more tourists at their games, other teams may not even fill up their stadium (we know who that is) but none of them can match the passion and love that the Tottenham Hotspur fans have for this great Other clubs may have a lot more tourists at their games, other teams may not even fill up their stadium (we know who that is) but none of them can match the passion and love that the Tottenham Hotspur fans have for this great other teams may not even fill up their stadium (we know who that is) but none of them can match the passion and love that the Tottenham Hotspur fans have for this great club.
Remember this man represents the Club, the fans, the players and himself, how many run - ins has he had with other managers at this stage, how many times has he been accused of lacking respect and being ungracious in defeat, I hate Ferguson but even he avoids these public displays that hurt the Club AND team, how do you think other clubs perceive us now, Il tell you how, as a laughing stock.
@ larryking listen jock wenger could never coach anyother club because no big club would go six season without a trophy there is no way wenger could go to madrid and go two season without a trophy no way in hell he would be fired in no time bmunich fired klinsman less than half season look at the real madrid coach grave yard pelligrinie made 95 + points last season that amount would win the league in almost any country yet he got fired i can go on if fergi goes two seasons without a trophy am sure he gone i love arsenal but football is about winning trophies wenger has hypnotize you i do nt care arsenal have gone five years without a trophy and six witout the league not even a carling cup or fa cup and loosing all our best players all for money all this talk about wenger and his youth policies i can count on both hands all the players that came through arsenal youth system that went on to be world beaters look at the current crop walcott nasri diaby denilson bedtner clichy none of these are world class they have improve minimal @ arsenal compare that to barca their youths pedro and co are world beaters event the great vanpercy who we rate he would never leave arsenal because all that chance wenger gives him he would» t get at other big clubs this does not make sense we buy young players they take ages to develop most do nt» t then we sell them or they leave because they want to win things that how you grow pretty soon that top four will become very hard to stay in if we get out of that then what i wish all you wenger fans luck am all out of patients with him last chance this year................
He did nt mention anything about lots of them looking exactly the same, he had a really good play with a couple of twin girls and loved all the double buggies, he is a fan of twin club now Fridays scan was a proper, long scan to check the growth of both girls, the scans are getting more and more uncomfortable now as its so difficult to lie on my back, but my consultant is just such an excellent sonographer (compared to all others who had a go at scanning before) that the whole thing is ok, painless and swift, even though not rushed!
Arsenal and Liverpool fans on the other hand will now have to look to Career Mode to right the wrongs of their clubs lack of spending last night and for that reason the next 27 days are likely to be even more depressing.
