Sometimes Joe can be picky when I make
vegan versions of traditional meat recipes, but
even he couldn't get enough of this sticky sesame cauliflower.
For a
vegan version you could substitute whipped coconut cream or
even cashew cream.
I adapted it to make a
vegan version with
vegan butter and chia eggs, but you can sub in normal eggs and super soft butter, or
even olive oil.
For a long while it didn't
even cross my mind to try a
vegan version, thinking it would be impossible to come anywhere close to the original, but curiosity got the better of me and a couple of tries later I had a
vegan (and gluten - free!)
In addition to her great burger and burrito recipes, Sophia has an amazing collection of sauces and dressings in the cookbook,
vegan versions of some of the classics like Ranch Dressing and Tzatziki that would satisfy and delight
even the most skeptical non
vegan.
For an
even lighter
version, swap the
vegan heavy cream or coconut milk with your favorite non-dairy milk.
At home, I make a healthier
vegan version (see notes in recipe) and keep it in a squirt bottle ready to drizzle lightly over tacos, fish, corn on the cob, nachos, enchiladas, and
even over Brian's fish sticks — adding a burst of flavor!
And if you're hankering for s» mores, but the weather just isn't cooperating, try this warmer weather, grilled
version of the traditional s» more: layer gluten free graham crackers with Nutella or
vegan hazelnut spread and marshmallow fluff, and maybe
even sliced bananas (optional).
We
even have sugar - free and
vegan versions.
Even though I don't have an egg - allergy, I have just always liked
vegan egg - free mayos better than the egg
versions.
The variety that Austin, my husband, and I loved the most was a Paleo (
even Vegan)- friendly
version involving frozen mango, a touch of fresh OJ, a few tablespoons of creamy full - fat coconut milk, and pinch or two of ground cardamon.
I could go a full week with only lentil stew (Lentils, some root, a bell pepper, garlic and sometimes tomato), this meatless

even heard of käsekrainer or a «kransky» before, let try alone a

I think it's safe to say that my

even if it does go off track a bit, would totally please the palates of

vegan version of the classic stroganoff is surprisingly «meat - like», it would impress
even the non-vegans out there.
if i'm completely honest with you, i have to say that in some recipes you can totally feel that eggs or dairy are missing and some recipes don't
even really work to create a
vegan version of.
Re: the sour cream, I'm pretty sure I made mine from scratch — I've never
even seen a processed
vegan version here in the stores (though most likely because I just wasn't looking).
If you're interested in a
vegan version, you could replace the feta and eggs with fried tofu or
even tempeh.
This healthy
vegan gravy is as flavorful as the turkey
version — maybe
even more so — thanks to pureed roasted shallots and garlic and marsala wine (madeira would be a nice substitute.)
