The U.S. Department of Education's much - anticipated plan for ensuring that all students have access to effective educators,
the Excellent Educators for All Initiative, has finally been released.
States are submitting their educator equity plans to the U.S. Department of Education as part of the department's «
Excellent Educators for All» initiative — which aims to ensure that every student has an effective educator — launching teachers and teacher quality back into the spotlight.
Earlier this year, the department announced
the Excellent Educators for All Initiative to help states and districts provide and support great educators, particularly for the students who need them most, and the education community has since been awaiting the new requirements.

In 2014, the U.S. Department of Education launched
the Excellent Educators for All initiative to support states and districts in ensuring that students of color and low - income students have equitable access to excellent educators.

excellent educators for all students by ensuring workforce stability for the future.
Releasing its «
Excellent Educators for Each and Every Child: A Policy Roadmap for Transforming the Teaching and Principal Professions,» the group urges measures to strengthen the recruitment pipeline for teachers and principals; build robust preparation programs that ensure that future educators are profession - ready; and cultivate opportunities for continuous growth and leadership.
The new initiative, called «
