On the occasion of this
holiday season, I wishing you all laughter and love in the kitchen, at your tables with family, at the office party, the school's last music concert of the year, the cookie
exchanges, the Hanukah candle - lighting, the shopping, and the coffee with friends before the
holidays change our days and
schedules.

holiday schedules, including transportation and
exchange procedures.
A good parenting plan and timesharing
schedule will clearly delineate a
holiday schedule, including specific dates and times of
exchanges, but often times during the
holidays the children will want to participate in various activities with either or both parents.
Ask family members about their plans for mealtimes, visits,
exchanging gifts or other
holiday activities, and let them know about your children's
schedules.
Where the custody is shared, the usual
schedule is weekly with the
exchange being made a 6 pm on Sunday with no allowances for
holidays except Christmas.
Even if the
schedule you work out for this year only applies for this year's
holidays, you and your spouse will be on the same page during the
holidays about when the children will be
exchanged and whether or not there are special events that both parent's want to attend.
If you both plan to see the kids during their
holiday breaks from school, ensure you have specified times to
exchange them and stick to the
schedule you agree upon before the break occurs.
