An aeroplane operating against armies in the
field would, therefore, probably use shrapnel, an explosive shell filled with hundreds of bullets and equipped with a time - fuse in
such manner that it can be
exploded above bodies of troops on the march, supports, reserves, wagon trains, camps, etc. shrapnel is considered one of the most effective projectiles used in modern warfare, and it does not require a military expert to imagine the havoc it would work on a body of troops en masse.
The skills you can bring to the
field,
such as a deployable turret or an
exploding drone, help keep things interesting, as does the fact that you're free to switch between them whenever you like so you're never locked into one role.
[3] Other religious influences appear in his pieces as well: his work in the 1980s included bejeweled crosses, and in recent years his paintings have used gems to create space - like constellations
such as
Exploding Galaxy (1981)[5] and Star
Field in Saggitarius (2003).
