The shelter is open Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and extended hours till 7 pm on Wednesdays and Fridays.

The second annual 2008 celebration includes over 50 adoption events, extended adoption hours at city shelters and special free and low - cost spaying and neutering promotions in all five boroughs.
