Nuts need to be limited — especially almonds where the
cut off is 12 g / serving to keep the
FODMAP load inline w / the
diet goal... on the elimination phase.
I haven't actually gone on the 100 % full elimination
diet (though we've tried it on Jr.), my summer is just making it impossible (going on LARPs, etc)-- but I've been good and
cut most of the
FODMAPs from my
diet and the effect was very noticeable — bloating and gas - problems went away nearly overnight!
