FODMAP Friendly Recipes
Adding more than one moderate - high
FODMAP ingredient (e.g., having a
meal of 1⁄4 cups of lentils + 1⁄2 cup broccoli + 1⁄4 cup buckwheat) might tip you over your
FODMAP load, despite all food servings individually being low
FODMAP.
The
FODMAP approach may be right for you if your symptoms have been properly evaluated by your PCP or a gastroenterology specialist, and if a high - fiber diet and a regular
meal pattern have failed to help.
This has to be done very strictly and very carefully because even one high
FODMAP food or one too many low
FODMAP foods in the same
meal and your symptoms return, which can be very discouraging.
