Failure is a part of life, and maybe even a bigger part of business.
Embracing
failure is a part of life if you believe in letting the data do the talking.
But the reality is, for most of us, both success and
failure are a part of life.
But
failure is a part of life.
Not exact matches
Once you've put such a plan in place, ideally by the time you
're in your forties, «the plan should
be able to survive everything except major changes in your
life, such as the death
of a close family member or
failure of part of your business,» says Dick Cummins, director
of personal financial services in Coopers & Lybrand's New York City office.
Rejection,
failure, and unfairness
are part of life.
But the truth
is that
failure is an important and necessary
part of life, and without regularly experiencing the feeling
of failing, fear can start to dominate our emotional state.
It takes an adult self - consciousness — the experience
of an adult
living and trying to believe but knowing doubt, trying to do the right thing but knowing
failure, trying to
be confident but sensing despair — to also know that there
is a
part of God that helps us through those obstacles, a
part which
is different from God's love or Christ's gift
of salvation.
To fail to
be one's true human self
is to fail in maintaining on one's
part the right relationship with God in the divine intention for mankind and at the same moment a
failure in right relationships with other men and women and children, characterized as it should
be by the caring, sharing, giving, and receiving which brings about a condition
of peace and concord — which
is shalom or abundance
of life.
There
is a lot
of blood, sweat and small wins coupled with small
failures along the way and usually we
are only seeing one small
part in that moment
of their
life.
The German universities expressed less opposition to the growth
of Nazism in the 1930's than did the churches and labor unions; their
failure at this point has
been attributed in large
part to their neutral pursuit
of truth without concern for the
life of the nation.14 By contrast, an example
of intellectual responsibility occurred a few years ago when the University
of Chicago
was building a new cancer research hospital.
But to give up the opportunity to
be a
part of the principal cultivator
of society's values and attitudes, choosing instead to
live on society's fringe,
is a
failure of nerve, a
failure to
be relevant.

of reformanda: inadequate procedures for selection and training
of priests, pastoral responsibilities allotted to those
living elsewhere (Campeggio as Bishop

of such men who used a

of benefices in wills especially to the children
of priests, pluralism,
failure to correct those who make money by hearing confessions.
Our present concern, however,
is not with this obvious and distressing manifestation
of disharmony in social
life but with the disharmony itself — that
is, the
failure on the
part of men and women to discern that true community and sound relationships within it can
be found only as each
of us has his or her place in a wider grouping
of humans, where there
is vivid contrast because each
is valued as
being precisely this or that person while the community as a whole has goals or ends (what used to
be called «ideals») that
are worthy, upbuilding, and enriching.
At the end, we will finish in the top four and next season encounter the same situations... This
is the
life of an Arsenal supporter... Frustration and
failure are part of the day to day
life of the club (for the price
of the tickets that
is becoming more insulting every season).
Failure to give them the chance to
be a
part of their grandchild's
life is not an act
of kindness on your
part, but giving them the opportunity to do so

We think the phenomenon
of failure to launch — the preponderance

is in
part attributable to the idea that young adults don't have the same drive for independence they used to have.
The bigger question
is, can you accept
failure as
part of the bigger journey toward a purposeful
life and
be willing to move through it?
Part 1
of the Change Your Diet, Change Your
Life series focuses in on a substance that
's near and dear to most
of us — but one that contributes to a host
of illnesses from diabetes to adrenal
failure to tooth decay.
Now think if you get rejected in that
part of your
life, where you
are the most confident, you somehow do not think
of it as a
failure.
No Pay, Nudity mostly functions as a pastiche
of «prestige - y» things — respected character actors, stories about
life's small successes and
failures — intended to trigger the «this
is a good movie»

is it that makes today so familiar, so uneasy?
It
is those who
live in
parts of the world which have currently have climates marginal for human habitation which will suffer first, i.e. the hot countries and countries where human habitation
is strongly dependant on seasonal rainfall, where perturbations to the climate may / will cause crop
failure and famine.
The wind turbine symbol
of all that
is good, renewable, green and politically correct
is in reality an environmental holocaust for countries, such as China, that manufacture wind turbine
parts, a subsidised
failure at reliable electricity generation globally, they blight the
lives of people forced to
live within their shadow and they kill birds in huge numbers.
Our phones
are such a ubiquitous
part of our
lives that we
're much more aware
of its
failures and downfalls than we
are, say, when our fridge isn't working as well as the newest model on the market.

failure, poverty, divorce, homelessness, violence, and limited access to healthcare.4, 19,58 — 60 Finally, behavioral allostasis, or the adoption
of potentially maladaptive behaviors to deal or cope with chronic stress, begins to explain the association between childhood adversity and unhealthy lifestyles, like alcohol, tobacco, and substance abuse, promiscuity, gambling, and obesity.4, 6,61 Taken together, these 3 general classes
of altered developmental outcomes (unhealthy lifestyles, fractured social networks, and changes in immune function) contribute to the development
of noncommunicable diseases and encompass many
of the morbidities associated epidemiologically with childhood adversity.4, 6
