I was skeptical about this — I don't usually like
vegetarian fake - out versions of
meat dishes.
I made a
vegetarian version with
fake meat, Trader Joe's veggie chili, Trader Joe's corn chili, and Penzy's Adobo mix (cumin and other spices), Penzy's Chili 9000 mix, some chipotle powder, and a dash of brown sugar.
Silly
vegetarians... what kind of «
fake meat» will they come out with next??? The thing that grosses me out is seitan... PURE WHEAT GLUTEN in the shape of
meat... GROSS!!!
As a
vegetarian, it's always handy to find new ways of getting protein that don't just involve eating «
fake meat» every day (which I actually do really like, but it's nice to have a bit of variation!).
