I know half the world seems to have their
holiday decorations in place already, but we're a little behind on life these days, so I'm still eating like it's
fall.
I love this time of year with the snow that
falls here in Colorado, the Starbucks
holiday cups,
decorations, time with my family and friends and all the delicious smells and food that come from my kitchen.
Fall is by far my favorite season — I love the weather, I love the fashion, I love the
holidays, I even love the
decorations — From Halloween pumpkins to Autumn leaves to Thanksgiving turkeys.
I love the sparkle of the
holidays; cheerful twinkle lights, glittery details on
holiday decorations and the shimmer of newly
fallen snow.

My favourite
holiday memory is going to St. Jacobs Christmas Market (near Waterloo, ON) where we can cut a piece of wood off a
fallen tree trunk with your loved ones and tattoo imprint it with a hot rod as a Christmas
decoration!

I am putting away the Thanksgiving and
Fall decorations, getting out the
holiday stuff, shopping, thinking about baking, and all the other tasks... and just thought - wow, won't it be nice in January when all this is over and life is simple again.
