Well, we decided to surprise them with some fast and fun
Fall mantel decor last week, too!
I took off my large canvas from the mantel, and I added some awesome neutral elements, a large skull and of course my watercolor painting to
my fall mantel decor.

I loved how Debra at Common Ground incorporated these beautiful white owls in her
mantel decor which adds just a touch of Halloween elegance to her classic
fall design.
I pulled a rustic bench in from outside to display in front of the
mantel, draped with faux fur, along with more
fall decor.
Last week, I unboxed my new machine, powered her up, and even managed to knock out a project creating some fun
fall decor for our buffet «fantel» (fake
mantel) while Juniper napped.

To make your own rustic chic
fall mantel, you'll need an assortment of
fall decor items.
We have boxes of light fixtures strewn about, a faucet and a sink sitting around on the floor, pet gates propped up to keep the dogs out of the construction area, a garbage disposal is sitting on our
mantel... you know, the usual
fall decor.

As you can see in my
Fall Mantel I love decorating with neutrals because they are more subtle, they go with your other
decor, and are absolutely gorgeous!
This made me very happy as I was planning to change my
mantel decor to welcome the
fall, and magnolia leaves were a perfect fit for
fall decor.
Oh my... I have checking out lots of
fall decor tonight and I must say... your
mantel is my FAV!!!
the
fall decor looks even better with the painted
mantel!!!! The wreath looks nice with it, I keep seeing so many things I like...
