Fear Free methods and techniques, but we were THE FIRST CLINIC IN SAN DIEGO COUNTY (and possibly the first in the state) to have everyone certified.
Among them, the suggestion that
cats should not be required to wear collars and should be allowed to roam
free without
fear of capture by animal control.
The
Fear Free movement is a recognition (finally) that one of the greatest barriers that keeps
cats from getting the veterinary evaluations and care they need isn't the cost of veterinary care, nor the busy lives that pet owners lead (although both of these reasons certainly are contributing causes).
