Big Church Day Out is a weekend - long music
festival that is
expected to attract 25,000 people and will also
feature music from Tim Hughes, TobyMac and Phil Wickham
More than 100,000 people are
expected at this event (hint: take the CTA, which runs extra Brown Lines for the
festival), which
features German bands, dance groups and choirs along with moderately priced food and beverages.

festival marks the 25th anniversary celebration of the first Earth Day.More than 5,000 people are
expected to attend the daylong event
featuring environmental exhibits, eco-oriented products, Earth Day crafts and children's activities.Exhibits, crafts booths and food concessions will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.Among those on hand will be Smokey Bear, Pollyanna the Clown and members of the Keep Lake County Beautiful Committee, which has supported resolutions declaring April as Environmental Awareness Month.
