Dressing: Combine 1 head romaine lettuce, torn; 1 small red onion, sliced; 1 cup crumbled
feta cheese; 1/2 cup chopped toasted pecans; and 4 bacon slices, cooked and crumbled.

feta panzanella salad loaded with creamy
feta cheese, lots of toasted garlic bread crumbs and a simple pesto
dressing - easy, elegant, and absolutely delicious take on the traditional panzanella salad.
The
dressing is then poured over chopped tomatoes, goat and
feta cheese, and additional chopped basil.
There is just something about the combination of lettuce with that yummy
dressing, the slightly salty
Feta cheese, the black Kalamata olives, the nippy onions and the coolness of the tomato and cucumber.

Add the
dressing to the salad, sprinkle with
feta cheese, toss and set aside.
The reason why the
Feta cheese is added after the salad is tossed with a
dressing is because I like the
Feta cheese to keep its white color (if it's tossed around with the beets, it will get colored pink).
Pour some of the
dressing, some salt, a handful of breadcrumbs and crumbled
feta cheese to taste.
