As a deaf film fan, I prefer more visual horror films: Candyman, the Nightmare on Elm Street series,
Final Destination films and Scream are amongst my favourites.
In
the Final Destination films, the invisible force of Death stalks teenagers who — by the inexplicable grace of prophetic visions — narrowly escaped their designed demises.
And they do it without any help from a babbling Tony Todd, the Candyman who showed up in the other two
Final Destination films.
