This recipe, or maybe we shouldn't even call it a recipe as it is so little
work, is just about layering and baking six ingredients; melted butter, graham cracker crumbs,
flaked or shredded
coconut, chocolate chips, chopped walnuts (or pecans), and a can of sweetened condensed milk (in that order).
I didn't have
coconut flour so I thought if I grinded up my own
coconut flakes it would
work.
I am not sure, but I imagine it would still
work with the small
flake coconut!

You can basically enrich the recipe by adding Turkish delight, raisins, nuts, almonds,
coconut flakes, whatever you feel might
work well with the rum - chocolate biscuit base of the dessert.

i tried warming & moistening each ball before rolling — it
works with the cocoa powder but not as well with the
coconut flakes (i tried desiccated & also
flakes) & the almonds.
And I find using
flaked coconut to be a brilliant, cheap
work - around to buying canned
coconut milk.
There are natural waffer options, otherwise, maybe sweetened toasted
coconut flakes would

I use frozen berries with 1 cup of

works well too for extra creaminess, 1 - 2 medjool dates or dried figs for sweetness and a teaspoon of frozen ginger for a fiery kick to wake you up.
The almond extract didn't really
work (IMO), but the
coconut flakes were a nice touch.
