Codemasters has formally announced and dropped the first details on the next Operation
Flashpoint game.
The next Operation
Flashpoint game, Red River, will be released at some point between 1st April and the end of June 2011, Eurogamer can exclusively reveal.
He's past work include the recent Operation
Flashpoint games, Dragon Rising and Red River.
The Mass Effect and Operation
Flashpoint games are also cheap as chips, while the indie loving is brought to you courtesy of Limbo, SkyDrift and Torchlight.

Flashpoint games are generally known as shooters with more realism than usual.

Flashpoint: Kaon Under Siege from
Game Update 1.1 — Rise of the Rakghouls.
Usually it's divided between more realistic
games like Rainbow Six, Ghost Recon, and Operation
Flashpoint and the other «run and gun» type tactical shooters like Battlefield 1942, Blackhawk Down, and Joint Operations.
The title will be built using the EGO
Game Technology Platform, which is the same engine that has powered recent hits such as Dirt 2, Race Driver: Grid and Operation
Flashpoint: Dragon Rising.
Many sandbox
games confuse freedom with a slew repetitive tasks in different locations — the pace of Kingdom Come: Deliverance or Operation
Flashpoint is much slower, and hence the action feels more natural, more credible, while somehow keeping the player on the edge of their seat; forever teasing you, but never actually boring.
