Smoothies... 1 cup of
kefir, 1 cup of frozen organic fruit, 1 teaspoon of cacao nibs, 1 teaspoon of ground
flax seed, 1 teaspoon of local honey, 1 teaspoon of coconut oil and a handful of fresh greens such as kale or spinach.
On another note... I add organic fax seed oil with lignans to my morning green
kefir smoothies more often than using ground
flax seed regularly these days.
You can add some granola or ground
flax seeds to your finished
kefir smoothie for extra crunch and / or nutrition.
I have a
smoothie for lunch every day, made with
kefir, fresh fruit,
flax seed & juice.
