Delta
flyers would be hit particularly hard by this as, presumably, one of their two cards would be a Delta card (the personal and business version of the Delta Platinum card earn elite qualifying miles and waive the minimum spend limits that Delta requires for Elite
status) so that would leave them with just one slot left for an American Express
Credit Card.

The Platinum Delta SkyMiles
credit card is ideal for existing Delta frequent
flyers looking for additional pathways for achieving higher loyalty
status with the airline, or maintaining their current

But they're already enough of a basket case I'm not sure it will matter (except for our poor Aussie friends who
credit flights to Qantas frequent
flyer in order to earn their elite
status).
By
crediting United flights to other frequent
flyer programs, you'll miss chances to earn elite
status with United.
And with the ability to earn and redeem frequent
flyer rewards and
credit towards your tier
status across the oneworld alliance network, your ticket represents even greater value for money.
We don't have frequent
flyer status with any airline, or any hotel elite
status (since the best luxury hotels, such as Aman Resorts, Four Seasons, Mandarin Oriental and luxury boutique hotels don't belong to loyalty programs), so our primary miles and points earning is from
credit card signup bonuses, category bonuses, and
credit card spend.
Virgin Australia and Delta Air Lines frequent
flyer members can earn and redeem points and
status credits on selected services with both airlines.
