The Symposium will

lessons — affects students» cognitive, personal, social and civic development, as well as how the integration of the arts into the school curriculum affects educators» instructional practice and engagement in the teaching profession.
Extending from that work, we have developed other multimedia case studies for use with preservice and in - service teachers.1 This paper is
focused on the development of one case involving issues of team teaching and
integrating mathematics and science through a design project, including the following: (a) the development of the case, (b)
lessons learned by the teachers and teacher educators through the development and use of the case, and (c) ways this case fits into the larger picture of what we have learned about the use of multimedia case studies.

integrate higher order thinking strategies and reading comprehension strategies into their
lessons to increase rigor and deepen student learning, and challenge students to critically analyze and interpret what they learn to develop new insights.
Increasing the Rigor of Learning -
Focused Lessons: Higher Order Thinking, Reading and Writing provides all schools with a framework, strategies and resources for
integrating Higher Order Thinking in all
lessons effectively and building achievement to become an exemplary school.
The morning's
focus will be on specific skills and concepts in the arts discipline, and the afternoon will be dedicated to collaborative planning between peer partners to develop a testable arts -
integrated lesson or unit.
«Guilty» can be used as an
integrated game during
lessons focusing on past forms, or just to have fun while communicating.
The iQUEST observations suggest that most participating teachers are
integrating the grant professional development into engaging content -
focused lessons.
Current research into the teaching and use of technology in the classroom has
focused on ways in - service teachers
integrate technology into their
lessons (Franklin, 2007; Greenhow, Dexter, & Hughes, 2008; Hogarty, Lang, & Kromrey, 2003; Hsu, 2010), the factors impacting both preservice and in - service teachers» intentions to
integrate technology (Çoklar, & Odabasi, 2010; Hutchison, & Reinking, 2011; Jongpil, Jaeki, Jones, & Nam, 2010), and the relationship between preservice teachers» attitudes toward technology and their likelihood of
integrating technology into their
lesson planning (Anderson & Maninger, 2007; Browne, 2009; Cullen & Greene, 2011; Rehmat & Bailey, 2014; Smarkola, 2007).
They
focus on the importance of universal concepts, thinking skills, learning styles, habits of mind and gifted behaviors for lifelong learning and they
integrate all of these into concept - based curriculum
lessons and units.

Few of these tools, however, are designed by teachers for teachers, and fewer still offer vetted high - quality content,
lesson plans and teaching strategies along with annotated videos — and certainly none offer all these elements
integrated together and easily searchable, with a
focus on mathematics.
For example, if you were an elementary teacher attempting to transition into a career as a web engineer, you'd want to
focus on how you
integrated technology into your
lesson plans, managed web portals, and how you interacted with the school network more so than your teaching methodology.
