On
the Folder Options dialog box, click the «View» tab and check the «Always show icons, never thumbnails» box under Advanced settings.
Selecting the Change folder and search options item from the Options drop - down menu opens the classic
Folder Options dialog box, containing the standard options from previous versions of Windows.
The same option is also available in
the Folder Options dialog box if you prefer to enable it that way.
If you want to show frequently used folders again in the Quick access list, check the «Show frequently used folders in Quick access» box in the Privacy section on
the Folder Options dialog box's General tab.
You can also go back to opening File Explorer to Quick access rather than This PC by selecting «Quick access» from the «Open File Explorer to» drop - down list on
the Folder Options dialog box's General tab.
However, if you'd rather open File Explorer to This PC instead, select «This PC» from the «Open File Explorer to» drop - down list on the General tab on
the Folders Options dialog box we opened in the last section.

I'm used to the ability to have an
options dialog pop up after scanning that lets me direct scanned documents to a bunch of different places, like a
folder of my choosing, Google Docs, Evernote, Clio, and more.
The old share
dialog had more
options and gave us the
option to share the
folder under a different alias, it allowed us to limit the number of simultaneous connections as well as configure caching.
On the Install
Options dialog box, select the Enable
folder right click menu
option to add the FileSearchEX
option to the right - click menu and change the name of the menu
option in the edit box, if desired.
