publication of Nick Cave's «Epitome,» the Midwest is in for a fabulous experience when «Currents 109,» the Missouri - native's
exhibition of new colorful, embellished Soundsuits, wearable sculptures melding fashion and fantasy, and other works opens this week at the St. Louis Art Museum.

publication of «We Wanted a Revolution: Black Radical Women, 1965 — 85: A Sourcebook,» which «focused on re-presenting key voices of the period by gathering a remarkable array of historical documents,» a second volume has been released to further amplify the

Organized for MOCA by Associate Curator Rebecca Morse, in collaboration with a curatorial team that includes Director Jeffrey Deitch, Director of

exhibition expands on a collection show originally conceived by Chief Curator Paul Schimmel, that considered the work of Los Angeles artists in a local context,
following Collection: MOCA's First Thirty Years, which presented Los Angeles artists in an international context.
The
publication follows Samb's first solo
exhibition in Europe held at the Office of Contemporary Art Norway (OCA) from May to June 2013.

Since receiving her doctorate in 1994 she has worked as a consultant for a number of institutions in the Caribbean and Britain including the Royal Academy, London where she worked as coordinating editor for the

Following her rediscovery, she was the subject of

exhibitions, the first of which took place in 1985 at the New Orleans Museum of Art.
The project was carefully

publications as Cartwheel Art and Juxtapoz Magazine, both of which highlight the mural's content as a potential foreshadow to Schoultz's upcoming January (2013) solo
