for dinner, at this point I often go straight
for avocado and
hummus on toast, which is amazing, but sometimes it's nice to spend an extra few minutes in the kitchen and whip up something amazing like this beautiful veggie stir fry with a
creamy tahini and tamari sauce and a mountain of delicious buckwheat noodles.
This is a real contender
for my favourite sandwich ever... The mix of crispy tofu, infused with salty tamari and tangy apple cider vinegar, with
creamy hummus, slices of soft avocado, handfuls of fresh rocket and slices of sautéed mushrooms, all snuggled between two pieces of crunchy toast is just a dream!

Sharing my favorite recipe
for smooth,
creamy, roasted garlic
hummus was inspired by the fabulous, memorable
hummus made by my high school friend Phil at his Greek restaurant Opa!
For some reason these cracker bites are simply phenomenal — the combination of smooth
creamy hummus or white bean dip + crunchy refreshing cucumbers and sharp cheddar cheese (or vegan cheddar) complement each other magically.
This roasted garlic
hummus has all the
creamy deliciousness of classic
hummus, but with the mellow, buttery flavor or roasted garlic.There are a small handful of foods that I can vividly recall tasting
for the first time.
Add more dijon mustard or
hummus for a
creamier texture.
These are the simple items needed to make
creamy roasted garlic
hummus at home: canned chickpeas (garbanzo beans), baking soda (
for removing the skin of the garbanzo beans), tahini, freshly - squeezed lemon juice, high - quality virgin olive oil, chickpea liquid from the can, roasted garlic cloves, cumin, paprika, salt to taste, freshly - ground black pepper to taste.
Not only is
