I replaced my need
for a sugar high from
sweet treats to potatoes and other starches like
sweet potatoes and
plantains.
Eating a variety of mineral dense root vegetables, green
plantains,
sweet potatoes and soaked rice and lentils will provide all the healthy complex carbohydrates needed
for satiety and energy.
I've only used
plantains for these, you could try white
sweet potatoes, but I'm really not sure how it would turn out.
