As the mother of a girl, I certainly benefit from all of those
women writers, and I also understand why you need some inspiration on books
for your boys.
Society isn't happy with single moms; according to a 2011 Pew Research Center study, nearly seven out of 10 said the trend toward single mothers was bad
for society (although
writer Tracy Mayor in Brain, Child magazine calls out the actual question asked by Pew researchers — how people felt about «more single
women deciding to have children without a male partner to help raise them,» not whether they think single mothers per se are bad
for society.
Jessica, the reviews and articles are so great — you should be so proud of yourself
for not only being a dedicated, loving mom and wife and great
writer but also a pioneer of a new
women's movement!
