Friends In Need Food Bank.

friend told me about a homeless man living under bridge
in a small town of 1500... everyone knew he was there; police, mayor and other community members, though NO one did a thing, I personaly went bought a sleeping bag and 100.00 worth of
food, storage bags and toiletries and whatever I thought he may
need and this is the first time brought up.)
My
friend has a theory that not all «angels
in disguise» are people who
need food, shelter and clothes.
Any time there is an offering taken up at work, a freind is
in need, someone's moving and
needs a couple buddies to go over and help out, potluck luncheons, anything... be it actual money or just time /
food, every single time without exception those freinds who are conservative and / or religious are the ones who show up to contribute and every single time the liberal and / or non-believer
friends just show up with an excuse as to why they're not giving or didn't bring something or couldn't help that weekend.
Other than being really grateful for
friends that love to eat and cook similarly to me, and for those that go out of their way to accommodate my gluten and dairy - free
needs by learning how to cook and / or bake
in this way just so I can be included, I'm learning that being more assertive, giving, and willing to educate others, both about
food intolerances and allergies, and about the mental health aspects that some of us bring to eating, are really important.
I think we
need to make her bachelorette party an annual trip One of her best
friend's Tiff and I planned the trip and I was
in charge of

While we wait for our government to go through it's usual «slow to respond / proceed cautiously / let's hear both sides for a few years before we spend anything on this issue», my stalwart position remains that,
in the meantime, we
need to do everything we can as parents, educators, private companies,
friends and neighbors to simply offer our kids real, wholesome
food over the junk.

Food Tree is essentially a group of
friends and family members gathering together to take turns bringing meals to a family
