I'm sure you could make these with spelt flour instead of
the GF flours though.

They were moist, fudgy — very fudgy, actually — and tender, and
though they don't have quite the same texture as «real» brownies (if you've ever used brown rice
flour, you might have noticed that it can give a very slightly grainy feel to some baked goods), they're very good for a quick and
gf fix.
Your muffins are inspiring me to try gluten - free baking even
though I don't require a
GF diet, but I think first I need a
flour mill!
I very rarely dust things with
flour,
though, because it kills me to sacrifice the
flour, which is one of the most expensive ingredients in
gf recipes.
I'm a
gf eater, and since even
though it's been a while since I've had a wheat
flour crumble topping, I still think I prefer the version with almond
flour.

I wish you had done the cup measurements,
though, as I detest weighing
gf flours (flies around & I make a horrible mess!)
You could also use
flour instead of the almond meal,
though make sure you use a
GF certified
flour if you are intending to keep the cake gluten free.
