take dedication, time and skill to beat, they may not be particularly mature but there is an air of grittiness about them so to call them «baby's games» is a joke — Nintendo has these games in addition to Wii U versions of Black Ops2, Ninja
Gaiden and AC3, so they have something for all gamers.
The wave of third - party titles announced so far for the new Nintendo handheld seem to back up Iwata's statements, with titles like Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D - The Naked Sample, Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy, Pro Evolution Soccer, Dead or Alive 3D, Resident Evil Revelations, Ninja

Gaiden, I can't think of any game or series that
took that route, as most platformers are built using Super Mario Bros. inertial physics or Mega Man variants.
With a poor camera, tacked on QTEs and a laughable story that
takes itself far too seriously, Ninja
Gaiden 3 is far and away the worst game I've played this year.
Take a mix of Ninja
Gaiden and some RPG elements, but it plays like an incredibly fast and tight platformer of today's generation.
It isn't all bad on the new game mechanics front though, it appears that Ninja
Gaiden III has
taken a page from the Kratos» (from God Of War) book.
2008's
Gaiden was a top - down RPG that
took its cues from obscure cult Japanese games.
Sounds interesting but will it

In Ninja
Gaiden II, I loved the fact you could chop your enemy limbs off and watch them try to
take you down even though they would be missing a leg or an arm.
Since then Yosuke Hayashi has
taken his place, notorious for his work behind Ninja
Gaiden 2 Sigma for the PS3 and Metroid Other M for the Wii, Yosuke is not alien to the Ninja
Gaiden Concept, but will it be the Ninja
Gaiden we all love and cherish?

Gaiden III however may have
taken a step back when it comes to dismembering your foes, this time round Team Ninja really want the player to feel the resistance when it comes to lopping off a limb.
In the previous games he been an emotionless killing machine who didn't really feel any emotional consequences for the amount of lives he has
taken, however in Ninja
Gaiden III it feels as if he has developed a concience.

Gaiden.

Gaiden Z doesn't
take itself seriously, which is a good thing due to it being so drastically different from the main entries in the game.

Most younger gamers today could probably handle themselves pretty well when playing the original Ninja
Gaiden, but I can almost guarantee that a good portion of them will
take a trip to YouTube when they find out how difficult it is to traverse through stage 2 - 2.

took over Ninja
Gaiden 3 and was able to deliver the same quality of music that the series was well known for.

Gaiden into new, less serious territory with Yaiba: Ninja
Gaiden Z.
