A few years ago I used my vintage Hull garden girl planter, a kitschy squirrel planter, and a vintage McCoy
pot grouped with pumpkins, gourds, fragrant lemon thyme and an old
galvanized bucket overflowing with chamomile for a fun outdoor tabletop vignette.
Inspired by her woodsy surroundings, the gardening enthusiast uses mostly natural and homegrown greenery — boxwoods, tiered topiaries, paperwhites —
potted in an assortment of vessels, from creamy white Guy Wolff
pots to old baskets (including a stately French harvest basket mounted on a wall in the entry) to
galvanized metal
buckets.
I carried the
galvanized theme into the long
buckets, which I am using as a flower
pot, but later, I can use them for other party needs.
