I don't want to be the guy who bashes a
game for being too easy, especially since plenty of Switch
games this year have been bashed for being too difficult (Has - Been
Heroes and TumbleSeed to name too,) but the difficulty players face in the first hour of gameplay, is the only true difficulty you will face, as the likes of power - ups that can be brought and found, soon make Shantae an overpowered adversary for all who encounter her.
And yes, there is a Hardcore Mode, but even then, within an hour (or two depending on your skill), of playing the more challenging, Half - Genie
Hero soon becomes a walk in the park once more and that isn't necessarily a bad thing, but while some
gamers do like an easy
game, there are plenty whom
do prefer a harder one.
Apart from the newbies, these are all
heroes at the very top of their
game with fight scenes almost hard to follow with so many people all
doing what they're best at.
Don't get me wrong, Shantae: Half - Genie
Hero is a fantastic
game, with stunning graphics that has truly brought the series into the modern era of gaming, but the Switch version is not the definitive versions fans were hoping it would be.
But this little purple
hero sure
did charm the pants off any
gamer that actually gave him a shot.
The
hero in this
game is a bit of a brute, with no magical ability whatsoever, so the early part of the
game doesn't involve a great deal of strategy past whacking things with your weapon and going to the inn when your HP runs low.
Secondly,
heroes have a more linear progression than they
did in the first
game.
As any fan will tell you, Zelda - style adventure
games don't get much better than 3D Dot
Game Heroes.
Don't get me wrong, A Link Between Worlds was a great
game, a good sequel, just like I'm sure TriForce
Heroes will be, but fundamentally, at the end of the day, it was a remake, made as a continuation just like this one is and these aren't the only remakes to grace hand - held.
Originally announced much earlier in Nintendo's mobile roadmap on April 27, 2016, the
game was projected at first to launch much earlier in the scheme of things, like Super Mario Run and Fire Emblem
Heroes, but that unfortunately

game, but there can be no denying that despite the approach taken, it's story
does feel like that of Fire Emblem
Heroes and Hyrule Warriors slapped together with some of the names, items and minor details changed to something else.
Unfortunately, Half - Genie
Hero isn't Shantae's finest moment but that doesn't mean that it isn't a great
game.
Although modern
gamers know Dragon Quest primarily for spin - offs such as Builders and
Heroes, most don't realise that it was actually one of the first RPGs (even predating Final Fantasy).
This entry will focus on the goddess Sylma who will run headlong into former
hero Chou - chou right after the events of the last
game in order to
do crazy things and be involved in mishaps while trying to save or possibly rule the universe.
Don't forget to pick up 3D dot
game heroes for it, too.

game gives us an exciting battle system that lets the players attack an enemy from one side while quickly turning around to block other attacks from the different directions, Blocks & counters are essential in the
game if you don't get used to blocking you won't be surviving very long, from what they've shown us so far I dare say that the gameplay might actually get boring & repetitive quite quickly actually but gameplay is not always everything, and don't get me wrong the gameplay is not actually bad but it could have been alot better!
