the GameCube remake of the original PlayStation 1 game.
The Short Version: This HD remaster of a remake is a remarkable homage to the original survival horror masterpiece to be enjoyed by fans of the original PS1 game,
the GameCube remake or even complete newbs.
Kojima's Nintendo support was already limited to 2004's
GameCube remake of MGS, The Twin Snakes, and the 2012 3DS port of MGS: Snake Eater.

the GameCube remake of «Resident Evil» failed to meet sales expectations, he believed that appealing to the growing masses of action gamers was a way for the series to evolve and gather new fans.
Hell he gave away a majority of his pay to bring back some of the original actors for

well N64 games were on the Wii's eshop which means they'll definitely return but the real question is
Gamecube games (and judging by the
remake of Wind Waker coming out GC games won't be coming anytime soon)

One of Ubisoft's Wii shovelware games, GT Pro Series was not an entirely new game but a vague
remake of a
GameCube racer with some tacked on motion controls.
I would bet that they would be in their standard definition because, first of all, the Wii games will remain in standard graphics, and that would require them to
remake every single
gamecube game.
In this Wii U
remake, Twilight Princess HD takes the best assets of the original
GameCube release, adding the superior widescreen format of the Wii port, but
remade with enhanced graphics, improvements and new features in this fantastic Wii U upgrade.
It brings up a lot of questions regarding
gamecube HD
remakes and how much nintendo would charge for them if they went through with that.
I like that their is
Gamecube games on the virtual console, but wouldn't it be nice if Nintendo let us have the option of having a HD
remake of the
Gamecube games for only a few more dollars (like 10 dollars for original game and 15 dollars for the HD

IMO it would be well worth it for them to
remake wireless
gamecube controllers for the Wii U and even Nintendo 64 just for retro gaming.
So that is what I'm looking forward too, maybe I'll pick up a used version of this
remake later on though but I won't buy a HD
remake for full retail price unless it's a
remake like RE1 (
gamecube) compared to the original on the playstation, then I'll pay a full retail price.
Sure, many elements in 4, like swimming in ammo mid-game onwards, and lack of creative puzzles is a huge change from the
Remake and Zero that came not long before on the
Gamecube, even going further with the Outbreak spin - offs on PS2.
Twin Snakes was the exclusive
remake of MGS1 for the
Gamecube.
It's already been
remade once of course, but Kojima didn't have a direct hand in Silicon Knights's
GameCube interpretation, Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes.
Updated, as in totally
remade GameCube Resident Evil style, is perhaps justified (although it rewrites history) but Nintendo pooped out Windwaker HD at full price and no sane person would argue that was worth it.
Other companies to do the same thing were Ubisoft by
remaking Konami's Turtles in Time, Capcom for
remaking the Mega Man series, Street Fighter II, and all the Resident Evil games into oblivion, Konami for
remaking Metal Gear Solid on the
GameCube, and of course Nintendo for
remaking the Mario Bros games whenever they haven't done anything for a while.
