I have never owned a
gamecube, I chose the xbox over it
at the time (So you can expect a unbiased rating).
That said, I've got the same attitude as Liz and Victoria, I want a Switch version more - was just fantasizing about what it'd be like to take the
GameCube version everywhere, so I'll even take a VC version

The first thing that hit me about Metroid Prime is the wonderful graphics, running
at a constant 60 fps it's one of the prettiest
Gamecube games there is, although not quite bettering Starfox Adventures in this category.

I knew I was going to play The Wind Waker HD

Gamecube games that never made it West coming to the VC.

If we were being cynical, we'd also say this is probably the first Mario Party designed with the Wii specifically in mind, because many of the mini-games in Mario Party 8 simply used the Remote on its side like a normal controller and the game wasn't in widescreen, leading us to think

Gamecube - era classic The Wind Waker comes closest, with its seafaring world, but where the open ocean that game offered was largely a wide blue expanse with the occasional semirandom encounter, Breath of the Wild's world is, and I can't repeat this enough, bursting
at the seams.
Yeah, it's like he's 10 years old and never owned an original NES, Gameboy, Genesis, SNES, N64,

at IGN recently live - streamed over two hours of Twilight Princess HD, showcasing pretty much what you can expect from the HD restoration on the Wii U. And while we've been seeing both good and bad comparisons with the
GameCube version, we have to say that the game looked pretty dark good on IGN's stream.

I remember being amazed
at RE 4 and 0 and kept wondering how
Gamecube pulled those graphics out.
Nintendo did mention something back
at E3 2011 about playing
GameCube games on the Wii U, but this has since been retracted by the company.
Personally, if my PS3, Xbox360, and
Gamecube were dangling over a bottomless pit and I could only save one, I would cling to my
Gamecube and stick my tongue out
at the other two.
And storage wise,
GameCube games topped out
at 1.5 GB — the Wii U ships in 8 GB and 32 GB configurations.
Furthermore,
GameCube games top out
at 1.5 GB, which isn't that bad for a downloadable game — Wii U games on the eShop will be much bigger than that.
Well, they could make a
GameCube Classic Controller specially for the Wii U. And heck, even a N64 Classic Controller while they're
at it!
Only, just because it looks like the
GameCube port is using the same engine that Next Level Games used for the Luigi's Mansion sequel, it seems Next Level Games aren't involved with the port
at all.
The
GameCube's third and final claim to fame,
at least to me, is the groundwork it laid for future developments from Nintendo.

What was once aimed
at being the prized Zelda title on the
Gamecube after relative disappointments with Wind Waker, the game was plagued by delays after delays, making many wonder if the game was ever going to make it to retail.

GameCube Resident Evil style, is perhaps justified (although it rewrites history) but Nintendo pooped out Windwaker HD
at full price and no sane person would argue that was worth it.
The atticle confirms that someone
at least has a big boner for melee and they do have a Nintendo
Gamecube.
At the time, the current Nintendo console was the
Gamecube.
