But I was able to do that and was able to deliver the
eBook copies, so it cost me nothing, and able to

I started blogging back in 2011 on Iola's Christian Reads, after I discovered I could

Get an easy overview of your library and arrange your
eBooks however you like — by genre, your personal
review or whether you've already read it, or create a separate category for gift ideas.

Btw, the wonderful Dana Lynn Smith has written a new
eBook titled «How to
Get Your Book
Reviewed», which I am yet to read, but have no doubt it will be a fantastic resource as Dana is so well versed in book marketing and promotions.
It's best to hold off on any
eBook giveaways or social media advertising until you
get at least 10
reviews on your product page.
I am only likely to
review an
ebook if I can't
get a physical copy.
iBooks has a sales threshold before it agrees to put out a ranking, though, so although you will soon be able to see sales stats (about 3 days after the sale occurs), your
ebooks won't yet have met the threshold for sales and
reviews that will let your
ebooks get ranked on iTunes.
Mark provided excellent instructions, tips and support for my first
ebook's publication last fall, the sci - fi / romance which has been
getting great
reviews, This Changes Everything, Volume I, The Spanners Series.
Get a great cover and professional interior formatting (actually — I would start with the
ebook first for a few months, make sure people like it and it
gets good
reviews.
Probably the only benefit that you might
get from purchased
reviews is the sales rank increase — in the cases where the reviewers actually purchase the
ebooks.

review pitching, and social media marketing, we've

1) Produce lots of titles to increase name recognition and sales overall; 2) Lower your price point and the readers will follow; 3) Don't worry about pricing, just focus on great writing; 4) Be a guest blogger, have your own blog, tweet, join forums, talk to readers,
get reviews; 5) Use your
ebook as a promotional piece to sell classes, services, and other products; 6) There is no magic bullet, just keep doing everything and eventually you'll break through.

Here's another way of
getting readers interested in buying your
eBook:

reviews, from readers who have actually read your book.
Expensive or well
reviewed eBooks or Print
get a few more chapters.
To
get rid of those sticky
reviews, you may have to change the
ebook's title and cover (and that means investing in a new cover), and then try to
get as much
reviews as the 300 you patiently gathered.
The current system they employ of letting the market decide only seems to result in early adopters
getting stung with poor
eBooks, and in authors simply redistributing their books once they
get a bad
review.
The publisher emphasized his risk, saying that most of these
ebooks haven't been runaway successes and, because they are solely digital, it's difficult (or impossible) to
get them
reviewed in traditional venues.

I'm working on
getting the
review posted for the Energy eReader Pro, which is a rebranded Boyue T62, a 6 - inch E Ink
ebook reader that runs open Android 4.2 and can install Android applications.
The Kindle 3
review at CNet
gets 4 out of 5 stars, noting that the Kindle's numerous upgrades vaults it to the top of the
ebook reader market, but the lack of expansion slots and EPUB support, among other things, keeps it from
getting a five star rating.
Even though buyers
get the
eBook for free, they have technically «purchased» it and their book
reviews would be classed as «Verified Purchases» which can carry more weight in buyers» minds.
When I assign that number I imagine my book
getting assigned in a «Critical
Review of Early
Ebook Authors» class or some such and it motivates me to do the best job I can.
I've also had this confirmed again when I offered free copies of some of my older
eBooks, in the hopes of
getting better ranking and some
reviews.
For the past not quite year and a half, Library Journal has been doing their damnedest to bridge the gap between the sheer number of
ebook romances being published and the desire to
get some
reviews into libraries» regular workflow.
So I'm thinking of adding a section for
ebook readers in Europe and other parts of the world, even if I won't be able to
get my hands on most of them here in the States to
review personally.

Here's how you build sales on the
ebook: you find people willing to read your book,
get them to
review it online and tell their friends, and repeat.
On the other hand, a poorly written
ebook may
get negative
reviews.
If you can
get a good volume of readers to pick up an
ebook, there are ways you can entice them to
review it.
You may
get a bad
review and / or they may return your
eBook for a refund.
The Kobo Aura H2O is the latest
ebook reader from Kobo, and while the Kindle Paperwhite isn't new, it's still apart of Amazon's lineup moving forward, so let's do a comparison
review between the two today, and then compare them with the Kindle Voyage when it
gets released tomorrow.

The problem I see on the indie publishing side is that Amazon
reviews in particular seem totally untrustworthy so while readers may be able to avoid the really bad
ebooks that only have one - star
