Not exact matches
He is dumb, (not the first stupid red card he received against PSG), he is
slow (look at the goals we scored against Chelsea and against Basel and ask yourself if
Giroud could have been part of that), he's fragile (went missing we needed him most last season and not scoring for some 15 matches), and he is arrogant (doesn't score for 15
games and puts his finger to his lips when finally scores).
As for pressing higher up, Vardy moves about and his movement is nothing
Giroud has ever done, if we go back to before
Giroud then you will see how RvP was moving around to get the ball and be active in the
game, not a static fool like
Giroud who could only hold the ball up for others... which
slows down any attack we make.
Giroud is
slow, but his hold - up is above average and he can bring others into the
game and has aerial threat.
[and our counter is too
slow; in the counter we need to make a small number of big passes instead of tiki - taka» ing it up the field & have someone who can run faster than
giroud] walcott maybe the person for such
games as ST; but he can bottle it too.
Welcome back Mr
Giroud we have missed you and the
slow game.
On the offensive front we lacked speed, and when we had the opportunity to break, both
Giroud and Ozil seemed to
slow down the
game, giving them the opportunity to get back into position.
(on a different note, we are not going to win too many
games in which we start both
Giroud and Ramsey, they
slow us down too much and we become too easy to defend against again because we are too predictable with these guys in there together.)
Campbell has to be a late
game player
Giroud will
slow the
game down if he is bought on for either Welbeck or Awobie.
Up front we have a few world - class players surrounded by some serious pretenders... Sanchez is by far the most accomplished player in our attack but the controversy surrounding his contractual mishandling could see him go before the window closes or most definitely by season's end... obviously a mistake by both parties involved, as Sanchez's exploits have never been more on display than in North London, but the club's irresponsible wage structure and lack of real intent have been the real undoing in this mess... Lacazette, who I think has some world - class skills as a front man, will only be as good as the players and system around him, which is troubling due to our current roster and Wenger's love of sideways passing... Walcott should have been sold years ago, enough said, and Welbeck should never have been brought in from the get - go... both of these players have suffered numerous injuries over their respective careers and neither are good enough to overcome such difficulties: not to mention, they both are below average first - touch players, which should be the baseline test for any player coming to a Wenger - led Arsenal team... Perez should have been played wide left or never purchased at all; what a huge waste of time and money, which is ridiculous considering our penny pinching ways and the fact that fans had been clamoring for a real striker for years... finally
Giroud, the fact that he stills wears the jersey is a direct indictment of this club's failure to get things right... this isn't necessarily an attack on
Giroud because I think he has some highly valued skills, but not for a team that has struggled to take their sideways soccer to the next level, as his presence
slows their
game even more, combined with our average, at best, finishing skills... far too often those in charge have either settled or chosen half - measures and ultimately it is us that suffer because no matter what happens Wenger, Gazidis and Kroenke will always make more money whereas we will always be the ones paying for their mistakes... so every time someone suggests we should just shut - up and support the team just think of all the sacrifices you've made along the way and simply reply... f *** off
When you compare missed chances and defensive errors it is easy to remember Mertesacker being too
slow to catch up to someone or Flamini making a mistake and allowing a goal; however we seem to easily forget Sanchez Ozil
Giroud Walcott Welbeck shooting straight at the keeper or missing the target completely several times in one
game.
Didn't watch the
game and to be honest I don't fancy a line up with
Giroud upfront, I feel bored usually... I don't like his turtle's movement, I don't like his hold up, I don't like his skill, I don't like his little flick, nor do I like his tongue gesture... Everyone is entitle to his opinion but I don't like those with comments polishing his hold up sh*t... and I'm an Arsenal fan with great passion... Wenger, you failed us big time in the summer not signing a good striker, hey don't say there's no one available because I don't like that too... At this current situation, play wallcot, Kos, sanchez or anyone (bar
slow Mert) upfront and I would never complain...
I've never been a fan of
Giroud, he
slows up our play now he's unhappy with his lack of
game time, I think this is the right time to get rid of him and bring in a striker with a better all round
game of pace, power, heading and strength
Would Henry have missed the shot
Giroud has, and Im not just talking about yesterday (Re the Monaco
game as just one example) Walcott goes missing and seems terrified of getting too involved in tackles or any rough play that goes on and is NOT a natural striker, Welbeck has a lot of heart but just does nt have the talent, Sanchez is knackered, Ozil is getting fed up with it (look to see if he wants to go elsewhere this summer) Ramsey is missing in action too and looks unlikely to pull himself out of this rut any time soon, belerine looks jaded Mertsaker is too
slow and Gabriel too stupid........
thats how we've not lifted a major trophy in ages... Damn you wenger for putting us through this kind of hell... now we have to stick with annoying
giroud and
slow mert in big
games..
How is
Giroud meant to affect the
game with
slow sideways passing.
Giroud more skilful team Auba?Seriously? What do you base this on?No pace whatsoever.Wins less than 50 % of his Ariel challenges.Goes down at the slightest touch as though he has been shot with a Buffalo Gun.One footed.Injury record up there with Little Jack.Continually
slows our
game down when we attack.Ridiculous comment.
welback is not gud enough,
Giroud is too
slow, Ozil don't shine in big
games, coq, Ramsey, wacott all average.
watching my team against Ireland yesterday even tough we won i wasn, t impressedit, we only start playing with purpose when we go behind and when we, re in front we
slow down our play, i thought koscielny had a decent
game with a couple of good clearance and his job was made more difficult by adil rami who is a burden on the team and always one mistake away,
giroud can, t be blamed for his first half performance the guy was starved of any service and it, s only when griezman was moved to his favourite position that
giroud started making the difference what a great assist, by the way shane long dived for the penalty but that, s ok we are square now with the irish we had henry, s handball & they had the penalty!!

giroud in the biggest
games is a risk, an
slows play
You watch same
games as me mate perez by far the best striker Danny need 10 shots to 1 on target no vision
giroud to
slow walcot over paid winger Sanchez prima Donna I've supported arsenal for 64 years and I think Wenger should stay
I said it before the
game and I will say it again,
Giroud is not a starter and
slows us down too much.
The reason I want to see
Giroud replaced ASAP is because I have watched
game after
game where he was so static, not
slow but a statue could have done half the
game better.
Unlike Walcot,
Giroud likes to stick at the central position holding the ball, this provide no chance for Sanchez to roam about on the front three and with him Carzola looks non-mobile, he tends to pay short passes in and out while Ozil more often tend to drift to the wings looking for putting in crosses and the overall
game is
slow which inturn provides room to the opposing teams to attack causing our defense vulnerable and commit mistakes.
Suppose we have a very direct
game with no set - pieces for either side, then what to do with
Giroud... He is no John Terry, he have the physicality but not the technique and the brain... I want him to be on the bench and I am gonna support anyone in his place (bar
slow Mert), I feel bored with
Giroud leading the line and I bet Ozil, Sanchez feel the same thing... I barely get relief when Wenger started to play someone else upfront...
We are winning
games without
Giroud who
slows us down, he's failed us for 4 seasons proving over and over he's not good enough, I'm pleased he's injured or not playing whatever because we're showing we don't need him!
Ramsey
slows games down as does
Giroud.
He has more pace, allowing Ozil to use his
game more by utilizing his defense splitting passes he can not use on the
slow Giroud, he is batter finisher and seems to have a better fighting spirit something in
Giroud's defense only Sanchez seems to bring at the moment.
If you correctly assessed the
game especially at first half, it was very
slow and that was due to the fact that
Giroud was very
slow, he didn't provides a room for our midfielders to attack with high pacy, and this was the case in last season maybe some of you have forgotten.
no idea what
games you have been watching but the idea of ramsey as a defensive enforcer is comical... missed tackles galore,
slow in to tackles and weak first touch define his
game... though to be fair only wenger thinks he is a renasiance footballer qble to play any position... the ramsey bandwagon was for some time based on the barca cant have him ay any price delusion... the man should be part of the summer sale crop along with mert walcott and gibbs... its fifty fifty on campbell and
giroud... both are decent squad players but the need for quality attacking options is palpable
Giroud slows our entire
game down too much.
Ok but if at least 4 like Ozil, Monreal Coquelin Sanches can control and distribute under pressure how are players like Walcott only speed, Giruid
slow and can't hold the ball, Flamini I will say no more How can you not have Ellerny who on his opening
game showed that he has the talent Coquelin Arobi were far more threatening than Ramsey Walcott
Giroud.
Useless Ramsey and
Giroud slowing down play, the one because he back passes all the time the other because he is
slow and off side a lot, falling behind deservedly, playing great in the beginning of the second half, failing to put the
game away when 2 - 1 up only to concede.
