Glass project earlier last year, and at Google I / O over the summer, the company went all - out to demonstrate the new technology.

glass house»
projects together — buildings by Philip Johnson and Pierre Chareau and Bernard Bijvoet.
An
early video work by Paul Kos, Lightning (1976), will be
projected on a plate
glass window so that it is seen from outside with outdoor speakers.

Projects in Portland's Pearl District, this biennial exhibition recognizes students and
early - career artists who are rising through the ranks of kilnformed studio
glass but are not yet represented by major commercial galleries.
Also on view,
projected high on one wall, are a series or
early videos, includingIzy Boukir (1970), a film shot in the Sahara, featuring music by Philip
Glass.
Curated by Dr. Dimiti Ozerkov, a head of the Contemporary Art Department of the State Hermitage Museum and the Hermitage 20/21
Project, the exhibition «Sculptures and Drawings» features iconic works by the artist, including the
earlier piece Minister (1988), a stainless steel sculpture that resembles an ancient cave's stalagmites, and a later work Complete Omnivore (1993) made from iron and plaster, as well as new
glass works.
The exhibition brings together works made in and about Los Angeles ranging from his
early photographs of the city to his most recent inkjet prints incorporating dance and architecture to his two «
glass house»
projects — buildings by Philip Johnson and Pierre Chareau.
These circumstances sometimes resulted in
projects that had the same overheating problems as
early «mass - and -
glass» designs from the 1970s.
