In August 2014, Director of Edition at Global Education Magazine, Javier Collado, was invited by Cecile Guidote - Alvarez, Director at «ITI - Earthsavers UNESCO DREAM Center in Philippines», to attend Ninoy Aquino Movement.
The interview was published in the 2nd edition of Global Education Magazine with special topic in «School Day of Non-violence and Peace», where also participated current Director General of UNESCO, Ms. Irina Bokova.
Also, after talking with one of their promoters, Franco Lacomella, Global Education Magazine and the new project emerged after the documentary, Reevo, will work together in the future to create opportunities for dissemination of alternative educational experiences worldwide.
At the same event, Professor Dr. Basarab Nicolescu also accepted to become the first Honorary Membership in Global Education Magazine, an e-journal edited by the NGO Education for Life and DMMDC.
From Education for Life, we encourage all our followers to read Global Education Magazine, as well as share ideas and experiences.
In summary, Global Education Magazine aims to disseminate creative, innovative and transversal educational experiences and ideas from the formal ambit, non formal and informal, to break with the existing positivist and technocratic paradigms of the past that reduce our students in passive citizens and a-critical consumers, because we have as educational horizon the freedom and the emancipation of human beings in any case and corner of the world.
