I do
know enough
about God's love that hell is not what most
people believe.
The common image of Calvinism — and I hear it portrayed in this way often, even by

about theology — is that the religion of John Calvin is a mean - spirited, narrow - minded perspective where a nasty
God decides to save a few
people while arbitrarily consigning the vast portion of the human race to eternal suffering.

about offering

about God's love and that ultimately, it is a personal decision.
I think it's a clever trick to make

people generally) who don't

In the old testament
God is an insane, vengeful, jealous, murdering entity that makes Christianity seem violent, bloody and insane... just as the Muslim faith appears to
people who

about it.
So when you use your post as a bashing tool against
God's
people, and mock Christ's resurection from the dead as a comparison to creepy, ungodly, demonic «Halloween» practices, you only show your immaturity in putting your foot in your mouth
about things you
know nothing
about, and your words are of no more value then empty, silly ranting.
I have to tell you though, some of religious folks would be a very bad
people if it wasn't for the «fear of
god» as they already don't
know anything
about logic.
No... the reason many
people will wind up in Hell one day, is because they didn't think
God important enough to think
about.
They talk
about their families because that is what really matters in a
person's life... that is thier true legacy and their only real immortality... most
people, I am fairly sure,
know deep down that
god is a fairy tale, a cushion, and that death is truly the end... what this very excellent young woman heard from these dying
people makes perfect sense... death is a time to end the bs and look at and reflect upon what was real and important in that individual's life
I don't
know all that much
about God, but I
know this is the root of the problem with religious
people.
I care for the elderly and have also seen this when
people die... the
people I have taken care of cared more
about the
people they were leaving and seeing those who had died before them, than any need to be told
God was there...
people with faith
KNOW He is
If
God exists, then he / she / it
knows all
about this
person's life.

about that student who seemed to
know more
about how to get
people to talk

God» than he ever did.
Yes, finally someone who understands and speaks publicly
about this matter to let
people know they're not crazy, they're guided and blessed by
God.
Religion is
about forming a community and supporting each other, but I could not be that hypocritical to pretend I am anything but a normal
person, loves his kids, and
knows there is no
god.
I
know that I see elements of divine around me in things and in ways that others don't, including other religious
people... And as long as different religions and even sects constantly argue
about what
god truly is, and as long as they come up with different asnwers, then I have to say that the spiritual elements of our universe simply manifest differently for different folks, including not at all for some... as with those who label themselves as athiest...
The claim was a simple thing to do in ancient times because scientifically ignorant
people still did not
know why the sun rose and set and why the seasons changed and why lightning and why thunder and why earthquakes and why disease and why just
about anything... so
people all thought that a
god or
gods controlled it all.

know someone is thinking, What
about the Old Testament instances where
God smote
people with sickness and plagues?
So I guess what I'm trying to say is this: there is a right way for religious
people to help those around them come to
know and follow
God, should they so desire, but yelling at them
about fire and brimstone is not really acceptable or in good taste.
But you should at least be honest and
know that one who believes in the forensic science of origins of life has to have as much faith in the
person asserting the theory as one has to have believing
God was the witness to the event and told man kind how the world came
about in simplistic terms.
There is a scripture in the new testament that says «
God is the same yesterday, today, and forever» Mormons do nt spread lies
about other churchs they say is you want to
know if the church is true the only
person you should ask is
God himself and he will answer that question for you...
For myself, I
know that when I did it, I was trying to get
people excited
about God and
about «coming to church.»
It was not
about him, but
about God and
God's plan to create a
people who
know and serve
God.
There's no worries among believers
about most
people not worshipping
God because we already
know that.

person know about God besides what others have told them?
As an aside, why are there so many
people who «
know God» but believe different things
about him?
There is no theory of
God, just a peculiar hope of some
people that there is something
about the Universe that
knows they are here and cares
about them.
Serendipitously, two weekends ago when he did that, it was a chapter
about how discussions of theology need ordinary
people to be involved, how well - educated and well - read and well - travelled scholars also need us low church experiential local folks talking
about how we see and experience and

about to get me a brilliant white light surrounds me and there's three entities humanly shaped but like this brilliant white light they are also glowing this brilliant whiteness I can't understand what they are saying the only way I can explain it is emotions comfort joy love is what I feel emanating from these entities the voices I hear aren't evil telling me to do bad things to
people when I get put into a mode of fear I live in a rough area of Scotland and everytime I've got into a fight something possesses me I
know this for a fact as I can't control myself I'm an observer watching my family / Friends say I change they say my eyes change and I look evil I personally do think possibly through my own personal experience I» am possessed as I act out of character I've lost interest in many things I've recently I decided it's time for change I've lost my faith I've been trying to connect with
God and feel his love which I used to feel the presence of the holy spirit everytime I try connect I get a feeling of abandonment I just think if I am possessed could these entities stop me connecting with «
God» I can say from my heart of hearts «JESUS CHRIST HAS COME IN THE FLESH» I think it's more to do with the
persons own personal fears which I have noticed my fears have changed if I had to be truthfully with myself I fear
God which I
know I'm not supposed to just I can't explain it I guess if you ever need a test subject I'm up for the challenge like I said I'm on journey to find myself and my travels have brought me hear I'm going to hang around for a wee while there's lots of good information to be plundered loll
I still think we should still go to the church... or maybe a meeting where all the believer can learn from each other, strengthening each other, pray for each other etc, and of course, to worship
God together... It is true that sometime I feel that I do not learn many thing from the sermon, but, many times, I learn by going to the church,
knowing that I will not learn something from the preacher, humble myself to still listen to
God and worship Him,,,, it is such a blessing to hear others testimony
about how
God works in their life, it is such an encouragement to see
people open up their problem, then, we can pray
about them..

God» has laid down rules of conduct and even
about desire that
people know they do not observe.
They
know that he is
known as a personality, and even talk sometimes
about whether or not their friend could be the Messiah promised to
God's
people.
A comment that stays with me from many years ago, when I first encountered contemplative prayer on a visit to a Carmelite monastery, is a friend's observation that none of us can
know how much of what
God is doing in the world is brought
about in response to the prayers of
people we don't
know and never see.
We go to church, we participate in leadership meetings to shape the conversations of our communities, we pray for our friends, we make meals, I write posts and articles and books
about God, we wash our minivans, we set up the sprinkler for the neighbourhood kids and hand out freezies to hopeful hands, we go to work, we talk
about the

know.
It says nothing
about a
person who got saved and then later decided to live in unrepentant sin and tell
God that they
no longer believe in him and don't want to go to heaven.
I
know some Christians that think the decision
about who goes where is actually up to
God and that
God is not limited or constrained by what some
people 2000 years ago happened to write down on paper or what more recent
people read into those words.
And I don't go to church, but I do
know for a fact that
people go to churches and talk
about zoning laws and other non
God related stuff, all the time.

God was invented when the human race was in its infancy, etc.; the affirmation that man has become rational and thinks scientifically, and that therefore he must get rid of the religious and mythological notions that were appropriate when his thought processes were primitive; the affirmation that the modern world has been secularized, laicized, and can
no longer countenance religious
people, but if they still want to preach the kerygma they must do it in laicized terms; the affirmation that the Bible is of value only as a cultural document, not as the channel of Revelation, etc. (I say «affirmation» because these are indeed simply affirmations, unrelated either to fact or to any scientific knowledge
about modern man or present - day society.)
If your
God gave you science then it's revealed that what
people knew about gays in the past was false and based on ignorance.

know the Lord would think that way, read the bible then u will
know what

about your soul in the name of Jesus, he wants to save your soul from hell if u would surrender your life to him and live for him, he is not concern
about no football game or worldly things, he wants u to come to him and get saved thats what

When Moses first encounters
God on the mountain, he wants to
know why
God has waited 400 years to do anything
about the slavery of his

I will readily admit, however, that there is much I do not

people or how He will judge the world.

people say that saying that you hate religion but «love
god» IS religion — assuming you
know what «
god» is enough to «love» him / it is assuming you
know things
about the unknowable = RELIGION!

no long just don't believe in
God, but rather get so worked up
about the faith of other
people.

about God by a designated group of
persons but of the affirming
about God and creatures in their relation to
God of that which it has been given to the church to
know.
From the statement of Jesus in John 3:3
about people not being able to see the kingdom of
God, it would be difficult to
know what Jesus meant.
Now I
know Nonesuch or some other
persons don't want me talking
about God because
God is not real to them.
