Even the
atheist has to «believe» that there is no
god, so at the core, they're just another weird religion trying to prove that their beliefs are more justified and plausible
than someone else's.
The reason
atheists don't care for
God is they can't stand the fact someone out there is smarter
than they are.

atheists to explain something physics directly tells you we can't talk about right now, your burden of proof for atheism is oddly far more extreme
than your burden of proof for «

Anyway, once I realized that my love and forgiveness are greater
than that of the Christian
God, I became at peace being

atheist who claims to come from a «faith» background is extremely confused and more to be pitied
than admired.Had the supposed «believer» continued in the «faith» they claim to have forsaken, they would ultimately have appeared before

god, so I guess I'm
atheist, but I can't really claim certain knowledge any more
than Christians can.
They're more dangerous
than atheists who, like Paul, at least have a chance for
God to prove them wrong.

than God?
Despite that being completely false (
atheists generally have a better understanding of theology
than most
god people), how does a «better understanding» of theology do anything other

And, you did tell us that you're certain there's no

The population that summer was 307,006,550... so in simple terms that would mean that the 24 % equates out to be approximately 73, 681, 572... I think there are more
than enough... the difference between an
Atheist baseball team and a christian ball team is that we'd walk away, have a beer and pat each other on the back for a job well done, a christian ball team would give credit to their
god.
Isnt that what
atheist are supposed to be about other

Most agnostics and
atheists were in your shoes, have studied the bible and more importantly the history behind it's composition but at some point most realized that the reason for the current focus of worship was no more valid
than worshiping any other

I am an
atheist, but I am more
than willing to believe in
God if you can give me any objective reason to believe one exists.
at the end of the day i'd rather have an agnostic or
atheist as president
than someone who believes in some fairy tale, or thinks that
god tells people what to do, or that religion is necessary for morals.
I am not crediting
God, but I'd rather have a doctor who believes in something bigger
than us all,
than a cold
atheist who doesn't have hope, or pray and isn't driven by anything in life other
than a selfish belief that he is the most intelligent thing in the universe.

God's grace, being a Christian may make Benedict or any other Christian far less likely to be fanatical

If
atheists don't believe in
god for any reason other
than personal choice, then that would raise some real serious questions...
So the
God of A might really and consistently have even less perfection
than the human race, or whatever the
atheist regards with such reverence as he may feel.

atheists here have openly stated that the existence of a
god or
gods is logically possible, but the total lack of empirical evidence for any
god, let alone the very specific
gods of torah, bible, koran, etc, is more
than a little suspi - cious.
Maybe it's just
atheist trying to mock the Bible, but even if so, don't we need a better answer
than «
God is
God and can do what He wants»?
And because Christ has plainly declared that the way in which we treat people is a mirror - image of the way in which we treat
God, the most ardent
atheist or thoroughgoing agnostic can no more escape from Christianity
than he can escape from life itself.
But for those who make the comparison (mostly
atheists) we need to have a MUCH better response
than, «
God is
God and can do what He wants.»
by definition belief in any single
God or religious systems excludes belief in others... In that sense, Christians are no better / worse
than Buddhists, Muslims, Hindi's, Sikh's,
ATHEISTS, etc, etc..
Atheists are the most hateful people I know, you somehow think that you are better
than others because you «know» in your tiny mind that
God doesn't exist.
