voice of the quick - change artist Bad
Cop /
Good Cop, tasked with capturing Emmet and implementing the end of Bricksburg as we know it.
Overall it's a very corny, tongue in cheek poke at the TV
cop shows of the 70s and 80's with the characters are
well voiced and styled exactly as you would expect.

cops in «End of Watch» (Sept. 21), which aims for a realistic look at inner - city law enforcement; Elizabeth Shue and Jennifer Lawrence are mother and daughter, discovering a horror - tinged secret in «House at the End of the Street» (Sept. 21); Karl Urban plays «Dredd» (Sept. 21), a helmeted avenger who cleans up the futuristic Mega City as its judge, jury and (wait for it...) executioner; In the animated «Hotel Transylvania,» Dracula (
voiced by Adam Sandler) struggles to cope with his daughter's new non-vampire love interest (Sept. 28).
Both approaches yield their share of funny stuff, bolstered by
good casting that ranges from Judy Greer and Bobby Cannavale as, respectively, Lang's ex-wife and her
cop fiancé, to cameos from Gregg Turkington and the
voice of Tom Kenny.
Though everyone had absolutely standout
voice work performances, the one that really stood out to me was Liam Neeson's Bad
Cop /
Good Cop.
He has the type of
voice that screams «authority figure» and as such, he has mostly played
cops and lawyers in his past series (almost always just for one episode), although he has worked in some criminal roles, as
well.
Sukey's favorite When it comes to police procedurals, nobody does it
better than Ed McBain, and nobody gives
voice to McBain's street - seasoned
cops better than Ron McLarty does.
The audio department is rather strong however, with excellent
voice acting and a
good soundtrack of Jazz music that sounds straight out of a
cop drama.
