For the saving
love of God to be present to human beings it would have to be so in a way different from how it is present to other aspects of the
body of the world — in a way in keeping with the peculiar kind of creatures we are, namely, creatures with a special kind of freedom, able to participate self - consciously (as
well as be influenced unconsciously) in an evolutionary process.

According to the New Testament, this experience of the indwelling presence of God is the essential source of the Christian's power (Acts 18) and of his peace and joy; (Romans 14:17) it is the
best gift which the Father can bestow on his children; (Luke 11:13; John 14:26) it is the secret alike of moral renewal (Titus 3:5) and of practical guidance; (Acts 13:2) it furnishes the interior standards of motive and behavior which must not be violated; (Ephesians 4:30) whatever else in Christian faith is valuable, even though it be the
love of God, becomes effective only when this experience makes it inwardly real; (Romans 5:5) and the temple is easily dispensable since to every Christian it can be said, «Know ye not that your
body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you?»
If they are true believers and not riding some particular hobby horse they must surely say that everything has remained the same that is really necessary for life as
well as for death: the crucified and risen Christ, his grace, baptism, the true
body and blood of the Lord in the Eucharist, the forgiveness of sins, the expectation of eternal life, the ancient dogma binding on all, the one commandment of the
love of God and our neighbour.
If there is one increasingly disheartening reality I am experiencing within the
Body of Christ, it is our inability to see each other fully and in turn, our inability to
love one another
well, or much at all.
It suggests that the whole of nature is part of the divine self; it shows how the exploitation of nature impoverishes the very richness of divine experience; it encourages a respect for the intrinsic value of individual organisms; and, in saying that God
loves the world as a self
loves a
body, it suggests that embodiedness itself is a
good to be cherished rather than an evil to be avoided (McFague, 74).
I live a

Despite all the determined efforts to maintain a triumphal optimism about the liberating possibilities of weight loss, the oppressiveness of fleshly disciplines may
well prevail, as the command to
love oneself, including the
body, is contradicted and undermined by the directive to amend its defects and unceasingly refine its contours.
-------- Oh
love is
good, but how about::::::::::::::::::::: It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, 12to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the
body of Christ may be built up 13until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

I believe this is so wrong those people who cheat should go to hell and those people who stay faithful but
love have fade they have the right to divorce is
good not the other way around so your saying cheating is okay so many people do suicide cause of cheating but divorce is bad / divorce to save your partner from getting cheated from you I think god on this is so wrong and should send them straight to hell cause they are going to continue to cheat and divorce people should be forgiven cause they didn't hurt no
body and nobody did suicide
And third, the way of
love is to put the emphasis on a positive respect for one's

best finding active expression with «relaxation and warm fellowship» through channels that require no artificial stimulation.
Tim i found it liberating to just do what the Lord wants you to do i work within his boundarys and yes i attend church and enjoy it.I
love the people and i
love hearing the word and worshipping the Lord even if others are still bound up with traditions thats not my walk thats theres. My focus is to do what the Lord wants me to do.There have been times i have said no to the pastor he does nt understand why i choose not to lead the worship.i query him as
well regarding the idea that its not just performing a function because there is a need our hearts have to be in the right place so that the Lord can use us but he did nt understand where i was coming from and thats okay because of that i just said no until my heart is right i am
better not being involved in leading. But i am happy to be an encouragement to others in the worship team i havent wanted to be the leader i have done that in the past.So my focus has been just the singing and being part of different worship teams i think the Lord has other plans as the groups i am in seem to be changing at the same time i am aware that i do nt to worry about change as the Lord knows whats best.I used to be quite comfortable leading the music but that was before when i was operating in my own self confidence and pride. The Lord did such a huge change in my life that i lost my self confidence and that is not a bad thing at all as my spiritual growth has been incredible. The big change was my identity moved from me and what i could do to knowing who i was in Christ and that he is my strength and confidence. Now i know that without him i can do nothing in fact i am dependent on his empowerment through his holy spirit all the time in everything. In the weekend i was asked to lead the music at another church i attend multiple churchs although i attend two regularly one has services in the morning and one has services in the evening so the two do nt really clash. In the weekend i was asked to lead the music its been two years since i did that and i was worried on how i would go.All i can say is that it went really
well and because i stepped out in Faith the Lord really blessed the morning to the congregation. The difference is knowing that i serve the Lord with the gifts he has given me but my heart has to be right and when i do it in his way it builds up the
body and it brings glory to him.May the Lord continue to show you what he wants you to do even though others may not understand your reasons i just want you to know that you do nt have to pull away completely just work within the boundarys that the Lord gives you and do nt feel pressured by others expectations to do anything that feel uncomfortable.Be involved just as you feel lead by the holy spirit even if it is in a very minor way take small steps.regards brentnz
I am convinced that if such programmes are augmented by the vision presented by the Theology of the
Body such as that put forward in «Called to
Love» by Carl Anderson and Father Jose Granados, then Catholic children will not only be
better able to resist the false attractions of the Culture of Death and the nihilistic philosophies of modern youth culture, they will also go on to live more complete and happier lives.
It's roundtables and discussions like these that we need to be having in our communities in order to
better understand and
love each other as the
body of Christ.
Many will lament the change in Paul's rhapsody on
love in I Corinthians 13:3, «If I hand over my
body so that I may boast» (RSV: «to be burned») The
better manuscripts do indeed support the alteration — but isn't something like «burned» implied?
We looking outside world for answer, who can close the eyes and detach themselves from the world and simply merge in the goodness and
love in heart and feel the
best what we have, never worry or argue the different name of God or argue who is superior or inferior, the people who argues never even know himself or herself and started defying anything which cant be define, We can answer the very question of God and super power, it is not complicated, close the eyes, breath deeply and start detaching yourself from outside world and stop controlling your
body, your thoughts, your so called worldly knowledge, ego and just feel the power and light within, you sure will get answer, it wont be Christ, Krishna, Allah, Those names wont matter, You will merge into supreme strength, and peace, we will have answer then, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ANSWER LOOKING INSIDE OUT, WHEN ANSWER IS WITHIN,
Then again, Reality is very hung up about sex as
well, and like a conservative,
loves telling other people how to live their personal life and what they can't do with their
bodies.
In death, the
body separates from the soul, and experiences disintegration and decay; the soul, as we saw earlier, is no longer fit to be with God forever, and all those
loving relationships we have enjoyed in this life, and all the
good that has come from them — these too collapse into nothingness.
The world as God's
body may be poorly cared for, ravaged and, as we are becoming
well aware, essentially destroyed, in spite of God's own
loving attention to it, because of one creature, ourselves, who can choose or not choose to join with God in conscious care of the world.
Those with grace to risk
body gatherings will find that as in everything else God works for
good with those who
love and who recognize the Spirit's mothering toward new levels of maturing.
peppered with a great deal of regret and nostalgia. When I think of «the church» in the sense of a
body of believers, for me, that is now a sense of uniiting with people that is no longer dependent on religious affliation. So, I can't really say, with serious convicton, «I
love the church» That said, I strongly identify with reasons 1, 2, 7, 9, and 10 (
well 10 from the audience / particpator position).
But certainly it will not be less real, In this realm there is no eating or drinking, no marriage or giving in marriage, no procreation or aging; yet everything
good that we experience in eating and drinking, in
love and sex, in our young
bodies and our aging
bodies, will be translated there to perfection.
But I am not conscious of hating God, or man, or right, or
love, and I know there is much «health in me»; and in any
body, even now, there dwelleth many a
good thing, spite of consumption and Saint Paul.»
Fervency in devotion; frequency in prayer; aspiring after the
love of God continually, striving to get above the world and the
body;
loving silence and solitude, as far as one's condition will permit; humble and affable to all; patient in suffering affronts and contradictions; glad of occasions of doing
good even to enemies; doing the will of God and promoting His honour to the utmost of one's power; resolving never to offend him willingly, for any temporal pleasure, profit, or loss.30
