And so we condescend when we read it, don't quite take it seriously, which may be in part why
good flash fiction is constantly so surprising, so startling, so likely to
give us our comeuppance.
These are nowhere near as short as those Chris was able to write but they are the
best I could come up with
given both the Hub Page preferred minimum word count and my ability as a
flash fiction writer.
I've traditionally had some trouble completing short stories as
well, so some ways to make a
good ending and
give it some oomph would be nice, but I've gotten
better at that since working on the
flash fiction course, so it's less of an immediate concern for me now.
