body fonts are large enough to read so readers don't give up because they're tired of squinting.

body font.
Here are a few examples of attributes it's tough to control in ebooks: dropcaps, hanging indents, running headers, running footers and
body fonts.

Resume Writing Service points out you should not obligatorily use only one font in your resume: different heading and resume
body font styles are also an acceptable variant.

In fact, reading paper books puts much more strain on the
body — for example, since the
font size of paper books is not adjustable, the reader may need to hold the book closer or farther from the eyes than what would be ergonomically optimal.

If you use some embedded
font only for headings and similar things but you don't set default
font family in
body tag CSS (
font - family: serif;) then when you turn on «Publisher
font» all the paragraphs that are not using your embedded
font are displayed as sans - serif, using Helvetica

If you're using InDesign to export to epub, it will embed
fonts... but you don't want to embed
fonts for the main
body content; that text needs to be flowable it will adapt to readers set preferences (otherwise they will complain that your book doesn't look like all the other books on their kindle).
Use an 11 pt or 12 pt
font size for your main
body text, and the default «Heading 1» or «Heading 2» in the style pallet in Word for all chapter and page headings.
It's OK to embed special
fonts for the chapter headers, but keep your
body text and first paragraph text style simple; maybe just set it as «serif», but don't set the colors or sizes (except for 1em... and you can increase line spacing a little).
That said, of course none of us would use
fonts like these either for a book
body — most of the typefaces you see publishers using in print don't ship for free with your computer.

When designing your author website, choosing the
font for both your site's header and
body text can be just as important as the overall design.
Using overly ornate, stylized, or curlicued
