Thanks to the
games realism, all the
guns are faithfully recreated and, just as in real life, you must adjust your shots elevation to compensate for distance, it's a very
rewarding experience when you nail your first headshot from 350m.
The change of pace will be a sticking point for some players as the
game rewards thought out plays and strategy over the run and
gun techniques that were so successful in turning the tide in previous entries but in my opinion this change is for the better, with matches in the
game now playing out in a closer approximation of its real life counterparts.
While this would be a decent mode, it still didn't quite have that run and
gun feel of the
games that STRAFE pulls inspiration from; instead opting to keep the gameplay that is in the main
game which
rewards a slow, methodical approach.

rewarded with a spray of blood and even occasionally a split - second of slow down, constantly encouraging you to nail enemies faster and faster.
Play stealthy, aggressively with
guns blazing, or creatively with gadgets or a mix of any of the skills available at your disposal — there is no «right» way to play, the
game is completely up to you and Alpha Protocol will
reward you at every step.
Nero's sword,
guns, and arm can all be upgraded by purchasing new attacks and combos with «proud souls», the currency of sorts that you're
rewarded with for your performance in the
game.
