has promised to be very active
in this summer's transfer market so we
have had a look at who will leave and who will freshen up the
Gunners squad.
As Chelsea
have now been confirmed as Champions and the end of the season approaches, many Arsenal fans are wondering who we need to bring
in to strengthen the
Gunners squad, so we can make a more sustained challenge for next year's title.

in a friendly repeat of the World Cup final, was that Mesut Ozil
had picked up an injury
in the
Gunners» disappointing draw at Leicester City last weekend.
As reported by the Sun, the La Liga side offered # 3M
in the loan deal for the striker, however the sum offered by the club proved not to be enough report the Sun, with the
Gunners also reportedly
having had a loan agreement
in place with Levante, however Perez prefers a move to Deportivo as he eyes up a place
in Spain's
squad for the World Cup next summer.
There is little doubt that Arsene Wenger will
have been working hard with the Arsenal
squad in training this week, with the aim of getting the
Gunners to put right the problems that led to our shock home defeat to West Ham last Sunday.

While the
squad reconvened on the training pitches
in recent days, Mauricio
has spent the last fortnight counting down the hours to his seventh Premier League meeting with Arsenal, his eighth overall, and plotting the
Gunners» downfall

The Arsenal senior

have blown the Premier League title this season, but there is still a league title that could be coming to the club this year and if it does it could

Perhaps the right wing problems of Arsenal right now will ring a bell with Gnabry and get him thinking that he

has been a breath of fresh air and his untiring energy galvanized the
Gunners in the first half of the season when we
had half our
squad out injured.
Sanchez wasn't included
in the
Gunners squad for the win over Crystal Palace on Saturday, and speculation
has been rife over when he will be unveiled as a new Man Utd player.
He also questions whether the signing of the French striker who could not even get into the Euro 2016
squad would be of much use to the
Gunners, but he also advised Wenger to do it anyway as it
would be an even bigger risk to not bring
in another forward
in the current climate of frustration.
Losing Mustafi for an extended period of time
would be a big loss to the
Gunners, as he
has really strengthened our defensive capabilities, but now we
have the depth
in the
squad with Holding, Gabriel and Mertesacker I'm sure we can carry on our great run.
The fact is that we
have not been so well set for the start of a Premier League campaign
in years and until we
have almost a full team of players
in the treatment room as we
have in the last few seasons, I for one am happy to assume that the
Gunners have fixed the underlying problems and will
have a strong enough
squad to cope with the unlucky but inevitable knocks that come our way.
It might not seem a lot, but quality over quantity
in those crucial areas of the
squad that fans
have been screaming out for reinforcements
in, could be enough for the
Gunners.
The
Gunners currently
have Matt Macey as third - choice
in the
squad, but despite a couple of loan periods at Accrington Stanley and Luton, he
has extremely little experience of playing any big games.
The forward plays for Rubin Kazan
in the Russian Premier League and mysteriously appeared on the
Gunners»
squad list this morning, showing that he
had been handed the No. 5 shirt.
If Arsenal are willing to sign Lacazette and either Schar or Van Dyjk to the current
squad the
Gunners would pose a serious threat
in both the EPL and Europe.
The 19 year - old
has enjoyed a rapid rise to prominence
in the
Gunners first - team, and this is the first time that his position
in the
squad has come under question.

have to topple a high - flying Middlesbrough side who
have won their last six games and are full of confidence, but the
Gunners have also won five of their last seven
in a higher division of football, and
have a star - studded
squad on paper.
The 21 - year - old
would have been an ideal addition to Arsene Wenger's
squad, with the
Gunners short of quality
in that department this season.
Campbell
had done well for the
Gunners in the previous campaign, managing to grab important goals and assists along the way, but despite his best efforts, Campbell was still restricted to a
squad player position rather than being a first teamer.
I do feel that the oldest player
in our
squad took the comments on board though, and perhaps felt that he more than most was
in the mind of the Arsenal manager when he said them, because Petr Cech spoke about the same thing himself after the
Gunners had cruised past Lincoln City into the FA cup semi-final.
He also spoke about their being a fair few Frenchman
in the current
squad which
would help him to settle, but Coquelin
has played a bigger role than that, as an Evening Standard report explains, as the two
have kept
in contact since those international days and are clearly quite close, so Coquelin
has had the chance to put
in a lot of good words for the
Gunners.

Gunners have some lovely footballers
in their
squad, but how many of them
would get
in Barca's best XI?
And the
Gunners have been strongly linked with a transfer move for the 27 - year old, but with Arsene Wenger seemingly happy with his attacking options, at least for now, and the
squad desperately needing cover
in the areas of central midfield and defence, it was widely believed that any move from us for Cavani
would not happen until the end of the season.
The second most important thing
in any top team, top manager, top player or any player is their mentality.The
gunners squad have zero strength
in mentality.If Arsenal
had Leicester's mentality last season they
'd have won it but people don't even regard mentality as it's deemed not important.
Because Mathieu Flamini
has claimed that the
Gunners have enough quality
in the
squad to compete with the very best clubs,
in an interview reported by the Daily Star.
Bellerin is fast becoming one of my favorite players
in the
gunners squad, thought we were doomed for sure when Gomis went racing through and then got around Cech
in the first half but
in came Bellerin out of nowhere just
in time to save the day... It was a really pivotal moment
in the game and I think we could well be looking at a different result if we
had gone a goal down
in the first half!
As
has been proved
in the first four games, which
have netted the
Gunners 10 points from a possible 12 and already secured us a place
in the next round, Wenger
had a strong enough
squad to do it without too many problems and you could say that the experience and playing time on the pitch
has been very useful for the young
Gunners and the fringe players who
would otherwise not
have featured much.

has not travelled on the club's pre-season tour of Singapore and his absence was explained by

Now while that may not be a strong enough reason for the
Gunners» boss to stay,
would Arsenal fans trust the board to bring
in a quality replacement and give him the financial firepower to build a
squad capable of challenging for the title?
We will not know until the end of the current Premier League season what sort of plans Arsene Wenger
has for the Arsenal
squad in the transfer market, or even whether it will be the Frenchman
in charge of things for the
Gunners for that matter.
The young Costa Rican international Joel Campbell is yet to see much action since he finally joined the Arsenal playing
squad,
having signed for the
Gunners back
in 2011 but
having to spend the last three years out on loan
in France, Spain and Greece.
Arsene Wenger
has been trumpeting the mantra that he wants to keep this excellent Arsenal
squad together for next season, and he
has already been
in contract talks with many
Gunners who are nearing the last year of their current deal, including Theo Walcott, Chuba Akpom and Mikel Arteta who
have hardly played at all for the first team this season.
So with Man City
having spent more money this summer on full backs than most clubs
in Europe or even the cash rich English Premier League
have spent on players
in total, perhaps the
Gunners think that our England international left back Kieran Gibbs should be worth a pretty penny, but the fact is that if we need to sell him to trim down the Arsenal
squad it might be a good idea not to price him too high.
But it still looks like the
Gunners have a very strong
squad for Arsene Wenger to choose from, as the pictures and report
in the Daily Mail clearly show.
We knew that there was some sort of buy back clause or first refusal between the
Gunners and Barca and it was believed that Wenger did not enforce it because we already
have plenty of players like Cesc
in the
squad.
Arsenal fans may well argue that the
Gunners and Arsene Wenger
have not been spending big money to win the title at all, and there
has been a lot of anger that the boss only signed Petr Cech
in the summer and then Mohamed Elneny
in January, but you can not argue that our
squad cost a lot more than that of Leicester.
The Telegraph is even going so far as to say that Mbappe is quite happy about the idea of moving to Arsenal, and explains succinctly that the
Gunners would have to remove quite a few of their current «heavy»
squad to make room for the increase
in their wage bill.
