Having unlimited storage space via the Cloud does indeed somewhat combat the fact that you can not upgrade the Xbox One's default 500 GB HDD, but game saves, profiles and the like don't really take up much space anyway, so at the moment this unlimited Cloud storage really only helps those that need store massive amounts of saves and profiles, which, I would imagine, is only a small portion of gamers.
Full downloaded games take up a lot of HDD space and downloading them is usually a long and tedious process.
