HTML file contains a long list of apps you've downloaded on your smartphone devices.

these HTML files contain exactly what the filenames say.

The IDPF created a format that specified a self -
contained set of
HTML files in a very specific format, and called it ePub.
And the ePub
file itself is nothing more than a self -
contained package
containing a group of
HTML files, with its own set of styles for formatting and a navigation document (or two) for making sure everything gets displayed in the right order.
(Note that at this time,
HTML with images can not be viewed within the downloaded
HTML zip
files; they must be extracted in the same folder structure as
contained in the zip
file, i.e. images in the images directory, etc.).
It is considered a good practice but not mandatory to organize multiple sub-directories in the OEBPS directory that
contain different parts of your eBook (e.g. content
HTML files, images, CSS
files, and fonts).
Preview - a-Book takes books (hardcopy, PDF
files, EPUB
files, or ONIX
files containing excerpts) and converts them to formats that our customers want (
HTML, XML).
This version of the Open Annotation in EPUB specification does not provide guidance on how to use the multiplicity constructs [OpenAnnotation] as currently there is not an accepted Selector for choosing a
file within a
containing resource, such as an
HTML or image
file within the EPUB container.
In fact, an ePub
file is a zip
file that
contains a bunch of
HTML files describing your book, and, of course, its contents (XHTML
files, specifically).
When supplied with an EPUB, the Readk.it build process produces a number of outputs, including Readk.it Solo, a self -
contained HTML file which can also be easily opened for reading simply by double - clicking.
Note that generally eBook readers expect one
file to
contain the full data while
HTML uses many external
files such as CSS
file, Image
files, other
HTML pages, etc..
The container typically
contains an
HTML file with the images in it and a pseudo-OPF -LRB-.
When you click on this tab,
HTML files are generated
containing useful details such as used and free space on the disk, defragmentation requirement, the method applied, the list of directories, fragmentation rate, start and end time.
This will create a folder
containing an
HTML file.
