Pat Rogers of Hamptons Art Hub caught up with Lauren Luloff via email to discuss her new work as the final days come to a close at
her Hamptons exhibition at Halsey Mckay Gallery.
In its inaugural year with two Hamptons galleries, Tripoli Gallery presented shows in both locations that were distinctive from each other, in effect doubling
their Hamptons exhibition presence through two spaces and two unique sensibilities.
The gigantic paper installation conjured a tumultuous storm - tossed wave that was directly inspired (and made for)
the Hamptons exhibition.
This is abstract painter Eric Demarchelier's first
Hamptons exhibition.

exhibition featuring works by artists concerned with reflective surfaces, the quality of a mirrored object's reflection, and doubled images.

Hamptons and on the East End, expect Spring - themed shows and annual group
exhibitions.
EAST
HAMPTON, NY: Eric Firestone Gallery is pleased to present That's How the Light Gets In, a solo
exhibition of paintings by Michael Boyd from 1970 — 1972.
The
Hamptons also has a close connection with the New York City art scene, so broadening this
exhibition to invite artists from New York and continuing to extend invitations to
Hamptons artists creates an
exhibition that resonates with all three communities, he said.
«This is a wonderful opportunity for artists to exhibit their work in this long - standing
exhibition which is viewed as kicking off the art season in the
Hamptons,» said Guild Hall Director / Chief Curator Christina Strassfield.
Created by artists living on the North Fork, The
Hamptons and Long Island, the
exhibition and art sale previews today (Friday) from noon to 9 p.m. with art sales starting on Saturday at 6 p.m..
The
exhibition includes contemporary art by 30 artists with the majority expected to attend the opening at the gallery in Sag Harbor in The
Hamptons.

HAMPTON, NY - Guild Hall is opening a major
exhibition featuring the paintings of Thomas Moran.
In the fall of 2015, Quogue Gallery mounted a solo
exhibition of works by Arthur Pinajian earned critical praise in a review at
Hamptons Art Hub by Charles A. Riley II and was the subject of a feature article in The Southampton Press.
The first
exhibition will present photography, crystal jewelry and textiles inspired by and created in the
Hamptons with a focus on natural environment.
Such is the case in the recent
exhibition «Hans Van de Bovenkamp: In the Present Moment» at Quogue Gallery in The
Hamptons.
