Hamsters love to exercise and two great ways to
allow your
hamster to safely run are a
hamster ball or
hamster wheel.
These
balls allow the
hamster to safely roam and explore in the house — as long as the owner blocks off stairs and other potential dangers.
You should bring your
hamster out to handle them, and
allow them some running time outside of the cage either in a
hamster proofed area, or in a plastic run about
ball.

hamster wheel gives your
hamster important exercise in its cage, while a
hamster ball will
allow you to give it similar activity outside the cage.
